I wanted to play Gwent today, but it's been 15 minutes and I can't, I'm stuck in the main menu listening to this theme. It's mesmerising and hypnotising, grand and sorrowful at the same time, fit to be played during a royal funeral in a tall cathedral hall that would enrich it with subtle echoes. I'd love to listen to it in such a place. I absolutely love it! But still, I can't play Gwent, and it's your fault. ;P I'll just mute the game and have this in the background ;)

You managed to make me feel all the pain and sadness inside of a fictional character's heart. Knowing Filavandrel's story, your music made me think about the human nature, how people behave with others, how we treat the "different". Only a work of art can make you feel emotions and think all of that at the same time.
"Way of the Witcher" will forever be my favorite. But this is a masterpiece in it's own right. Gwent is very lucky to have you as their composer. Here's to many more years of awesome themes! 🍻
I was just reading “The Edge of the World” short story and the interaction between Geralt and Filavandrel for the very first time when this expansion dropped. And managed to complete those pages only after listening to this track. So heartwrenching! Will remember this for quite a while.
Makes me think about life, what I lost, the war I have to fight everyday. When I feel like I fell, I always come back to this theme. As long as I have hope, I will resist the darkness.
Every time. Every damn time there’s a piece from you, I know its going to have such complex yet subtle motifs that builds onto the grand world that you are helping expand. The way this piece so effortlessly conveys that immense grief and sorrow Filavandrel is feeling. The feeling of such disdain for everything human coupled with the realization that no matter how hard they fight, how much they are feared by the humans, and how many they kill. There is truly nothing more they can do, the Elder Race, the Scoia’tael, the Aen Seidhe, are all but finished. This score is so beautifully sorrowful. Beginning with that solemn and lonely stringed instrument almost heaving in the grief of this fact and then being joined by the chorus, which sounds like a grand multitude of voices singing as one to have their voices heard by all. I feels like the chorus are the fallen Aen Seidhe themselves, joining Filavandrel in his sorrow, in his realization that their end is soon to come. The fact that the chorus is so loud feels like hundreds of voices really conveys how many of his fellow people Filavandrel has been forced to watch die for a dead cause. There are Master Witchers, and then there are Master Composers. Thank you for all your beautiful works.

Adamczyk do you make music for any other title except gwent? I think that you've got a really unique and fresh way of composing and I'd really love to hear your music in some show/movie instead of a game main menu. Tbh netflix should've hired you for the show. Music plays so huge part in everything. This song gives you the same feeling you get after you've finished a long game, or your favorite show. I weigh over 120 kg and do weightlifting, bald and with a beard ... but how does it penetrate to the depths of my soul, I immediately remember the book Blood of the Elves, how much was given by the elves in the name of freedom and life perfect composition, I have listened to it more than a dozen times ... this is a masterpiece it is delightful and sadly insane

I was going to start a new game not paying much attention to the background music but as soon as I gave it an ear, I felt something I've never felt before. It's like a stream of strong energy coming at you at once and you're stuck there, just admiring this quality piece of art.
This is such a sad and powerful track. And when you think about what's happening to the game at the moment, it enhances its meaning even more. Truly a masterwork.
Gwent really helped me through the lockdowns, but when Harvest of Sorrow dropped, I was not ready to go back to the real world. I had found comfort and peace in the world standing still and in the beautiful escapism of video games. This beautiful piece of music perfectly captured that feeling I had at the end of 2021, I listened to it every morning in the menu while making coffee, getting ready to spend another day procrastinating. Now I am in a different place mentally and things are going really well for me, but sometimes I still miss these simpler times. This music will always remind me of these times but also remind me of how much has changed since then, which is why I always get very emotional when listening to it. I just burst into tears while writing this. Thank you for this beautiful piece of music, it will forever have a special place in my heart❤
I remember when I was sick and playing gwent and when the temperature jumped, I lay down on the bed in my room, and this track was playing in the main menu while I was napping. And what an effect this music had while I was half asleep and before it!. It seemed to echo my condition, all this pulling melody. CD Projekt, your composer is a genius!
I've been playing this on repeat weekly for since this was released. It's so sad, but yet so beautiful at the same time. I love the instruments that are utilized here, really sets the tone. I wish I found a playlist made of similar kind of songs.

I knew this sounded familiar! I realized it is quite similar to some moments of Dead City, when Wyzima is in flames in TW1. This makes it even sadder. This is creative genius. I always loved this specific part of the Dead City OST since I first played TW1, so haunting and fitting with the massacre turning the burning streets in rivers of blood. Not gonna lie, you ate with the music of the Gwent. I listen to A LOT of music, especially ost and the music you made for Gwent and Thronebreaker, sir! And these are the very select few I can call my favourite without hesitation. I'm glad this game made me discover you and Percival. Excellent inspiration for my writings and reading mr Sapkowski's books (who also happen to be my favourite author lol)! This universe and characters are so important to me and dear to my soul, and you did them justice! I got *a little bit* emotional when I saw Filavandrel and Renfri had their own theme and Thanedd's coup as well. Way to make art of my traumas lol. Cried reading the books, cried watching the TV show (even with its flaws) and now, cried listening to those song lol I hope I can visit Poland one day! Beautiful country and language and so many of the artists I love are Polish and so is one of my friends. Must be the remote Czech genes calling haha. Anyway, I wish you well if you ever read this. I use them for many things, painting, reading, simple day dreaming, sometimes writing. And I have to say that this inspires me the most out of all the other pieces in my collection.
