    I am starting to find him one of the very best I have ever heard. His expression and musicality are astounding. Amazing vibrato. He just has everything.

    What can I say... This is definitely a "black belt" in classical guitar. Kudos.

    just discovered this video, and I must say this is the interpretation of Barrios' La Catedral that touches me the most, so musical, so felt...isn't it what music should be all about? Now, I feel inspired and will go play (practice rather) the Saudade, voilà! Oh, and merci Jan Depreter!

    One of the best tone I have ever heard. Would love to see your nail shape and general technique of moving up and down on the string. Deserves a million + views

      Those are very personal questions...I remember a lawyer asking epstein a simular personal question about his nail.

    Dear Dr. Luu, thanks for your positive feedback! :) The maker of this very expressive and easy-to-play instrument is a very talented young guitar maker from Adelaide, Australia, Domenic Roscioli. I believe he worked (works still?) in the workshop of Jim Redgate. The guitar was borrowed to me at the last minute, because unfortunately my Gnatek guitar did not get there in time. But the construction and materials are very similar.

    Beautiful! I discovered you, being a Rachmaninoff lover, in your lovely composition, Moreliana. Never has the classical guitar touched my soul so much, thank you for your birth as an Angel of the Guitar!

    Wonderful performance Jan. Domenic's guitar sounds so wonderful in your hands that I recently bought one. It is a beautiful insturment even though my playing falls a long way short of your ability.

    congratulations Jean Depeter, very good interpretation, I like rhythm, time management and above all the intensity at different stages of composition, volume management is great, definitely one of the best performances I've ever seen and I heard, greetings and thanks ...!

      Yes, he did. When was learning to play (40 yrs ago), after some years I got hold of a series of books containing the complete works of Barrios. Barrios' music has always been on my mind ever since. It's a great source of inspiration.

    Beautiful interpretion. I'm impressed by the tone, the expression and the accuracy.
    But, why are some audiences so noisy? Can't they be silent for a few minutes?

    • @Zoransland
      @Zoransland  7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Thank you, audiences are what they are; artists have to take them as they find them. I should perhaps mention it was 50° Celsius outside that day and a dripping 100% humidity. I was amazed the guitar didn't melt like a Dali painting...

    This may be 1 of the best interpretations of the piece, lots of colors and nuances, very musical and expresive. Who is the maker of that nice guitar?

    @Jan Depreter Wonderful! And you should better have them change the name of the performing artist into yours (instead of
    Alexander-Sergei Ramirez) and also have them give the full name of the composer (Agustin Barrios Mangoré instead of Mangore which is his least frequently used name, of course).
