You should do a video on the proper pitching mechanics where you break down the whole pitch.

When did the pitchers start hopping a yard towards the plate before releasing the ball? Supplementary question: How would an old school pitcher from the 'contact the rubber' era do in today's game?

Gene Mcwillie would have been just fine. Being able to take your back foot off of the rubber created enough of a difference/advantage for the pitchers that people were screaming bloody murder about it. This crow hopping isn’t true pitching but sadly it’s what pitching has evolved into.
There’s lots of so called old school pitchers that were every bit as good and probably better than the crow hoppers!

I can attest Al Lewis Johnny spring Rob Guenter Mark Smith Joe west and Manny other pitchers from the past forty five yrs would compete just fine. The leaping and especially Crossfiring has hurt the game, but athlete's will gravitate to where the MONEY GOS. FOLLOW THE MONEY . ALSO Sponsorship has dried Up. I could go on Infinitum but enough said.

Good video for helping the new pitchers but this video/video series doesn’t actually explain the proper pitching mechanics as a whole. Is there any way you could make a new video/video series just explaining the proper pitching mechanics to the video audience?
