- A compilation of Moose sneezing. He did not have a runny nose, but was lethargic and lost much of his appetite. Vet recommended we wait it out, as it did not require antibiotics.
With Duk soup, colorless sugar-free pedialyte (for dehydration), and lots of love, he got better after 12 days. Hope this helps you if you need it!

Change the bedding and clear air and environment and food and spring water and love and he'll be ok. He looks like one of my boys ❤
Omg I'm glad I found this cause I'm scared shitless right now, my little one is matched on her little nose and is doing all these things I see on your vid, I'll be taking her to the vet tomorrow morning.

Wow I’m glad to see this, and see you responding. Not that you are a vet, but my area is on lockdown and I have no one to really ask right now due to the Virus that’s going on. If you don’t mind me asking a few things as you’ve experienced this, did it sound as if your little babe was choking? I’m currently searching the internet desperate for any info I can right now looking for an answer to my girls problem.
Choking might just be hairballs - very common around this time of year (season change). DM @themodernferret on instagram and they'll help you with specific questions and chat with you :)
Its hard for to see what bedding you have for him, i use regular cotton blankets. They can get allergies and he sounded to me like he had a hair ball and when our ferrets sound like, we use ferralax to help them pass the hair ball. Now if they continue the coughing and sneezing get them to the vet asap. They can get colds they can get pretty much anything humans can get. We had some issues with their litter, some of our furries were sensitive to the pine pellets we used and we had to switch to paper pellet litter. I hope i was a little help. And i hope you can help your fuzzy get better. I love these little guys a ton.
My little Asriel has been sneezing a bunch since last night and keeps having sneezing fits. He's acting normal though...well as normal as he can be (he's a bit of a weirdo even for a ferret). But it could be because he decided that his freshly cleaned litter box is his new bed...he has like three different things to sleep in and he keeps choosing that. I'm still going to take him to the vet when I can though. He's been eating and drinking fine. The only thing different has been the sneezing, but if he stops eating then I'm going to try the soup and pedialyte.
Hannah Leonata what kind of litter do you use? It k light just be that if all goes other signs were OK. Did he ever get better?

Do you have any idea on why my farret lost soo much weight and is constantly shaking? Im lost and dont know what to do with my little guy. I got a vet appointment but not for a couple days

@@nicolehennessy7380 I took him to a ferret rescue because I felt like I couldn’t get him the care he needed, he’s better and has a new home with another ferret. I only had him but the girl who added him said he was still doing it a little bit when she got him that it could be from dust or allergies, I’d suggest taking ur ferret(s) to a good ferret vet the closest vet to me wasn’t the best for ferret care as she hadn’t seen many ferrets.

My ferret is sneezing so badly and won’t stop he turns his head and violently sneezes for a minute straight and it sounds like he is in so much pain but I don’t think he is sick
Sounds like he could have allergies or was near dust - any chance you are using a dusty litter, bedding, or room fragrance? (try not to use any of those things around ferrets)
My poor old girl has one right now and kept me up all night. 😢 my baby

Did you ever figure out what was wrong with Moose?
Vet diagnosed him with the common cold - only thing to do was to take care of him and wait it out. He lost some of his appetite, so we fed him Duk soup and die-free sugarless pedialyte for dehydration. He got better after about ten or twelve days. :)
Thanks! Because this is exactly what my ferret Diesel is doing. That's why I had to ask. I figured at first it was allergies or a hair-ball until I saw your video. Thank you so much :) But I'm still going to bring him to the vet to be on the safe side ^_^

He had a viral/Bacteria infection, she gave me Amoxicillin. He better now only a sneeze or two a day, but I think that's normal. What did moose have?
Good to hear he's doing better. Moose had the common cold this time, but the first time he got sick he too had a viral infection and was also treated with an antibiotic.
Mine will wake up and sound like there is liquid in his lungs and can’t breathe for a few seconds so I pick him up in the baby burping position but

Douglas Bull dats sad cause my ferret is only like 7 months now .. and he kinda bad I be hittin him ik it sound bad and it is but ugh idk ion wanna give him away cause I love him now n he love me but hearing y’all ferrets get sick and die honestly breaks my heart cause I love my little guy to pieces and I’d be sooo sick if he died he’s like my child

this reminds me of my ferret (Goku, named after the main character of dragon ball ) one day he got very sick so we bought some medicine. he did get better but like one year later we got another ferret ( Crillin, named after goku's best friend ) but crillin kept on bighting goko. a few months later i saw that he was blind from one eye. A year and a half later he got VERY sick again and he could not move, timt to time he moved his head.My dad made some medicine and i thought it was gonna work but when i came home from school today i checked on him but....... he died 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😔😔😔😔😔i will NEVER froget him .We buried him today behind my apartments

My ferret won’t pick up her back legs I can’t tell if she’s got a cold I’m not meow to this ferret thing she’s my sweet girl and I’m very worried about her
If she still is unable to life her back legs, she needs to be seen by the vet, unfortunately. This is the beginning stages of possibly insulinoma and the sooner you treat it the sooner you can avoid major life threatening problems!
