Water sloshes in the tank, and becomes an added dynamic force. It can actually cause tipping when your vehicle is already in an unstable position. Much harder to manage a vehicle with half full vs full, even if the tank is baffled. Spent plenty of time driving various fire apparatus with 50-2200 gal tanks. Half full is terrible.

It still amazes me that QTAC have such good engineering/customer service. I appreciate you are an "influencer" but for them to chase you when you have issues says that they will be pretty pro-active for the average Joe!
A boom in US manufacture would be good. I'm in the UK and I still buy either US/UK if I can. There is a definite difference in quality.
One option for the water in the channel issue is to use a non-setting gasket like Hylomar blue on the base of the soap tank so water can't get in there in the first place. Whatever you do you will end up with rotting stuff, blocked drain or a creepy crawly home in there otherwise.
Soft grip (plastic) jaws on the hoses and gently twisting them starting at the top and working inwards is the easiest way to break the hoses free, if someone saw you jamming a screwdriver into a hose in the aviation/critical environment you wouldn't last long!

The problem is that if it isn't in the store when you go to buy what you need, you can't buy it. Made in America is really nice! And I would buy it more often if it was available, but when I have a project and need things done and need a tool or item to complete it, I can only buy what is there. The Made in America option decision is being made way above the consumer level many times anymore.

The pioneer 700s are a as tough as it gets we load 1500-2000 of cattle mineral in the bed and run through rough canyon country all day long. We pull well over 2 tons of fence posts and wire through corn fields and pasture ground. Only problem we have is tires. Not fast and not fancy but so far they’re the only ones that hold up in our line of work.

We put a skid on our Polaris 6x6 in 20122 at our VFD, Also we have a mount for a stokes stretcher as to be a multi use rig. We discovered that running the pump at idle was more effective for most grass fires. Our 60 gals lasted much longer. This was bought due to the 2011 fires here in Texas. Designed by our Chief

Cody, shooting a little compressed air down the side of the rubber tube will help release it from any connections.

Using pliers (Channel Locks) to twist hoses helps break the connection for easier disconnects.

Without fail, I always grab a 5/16" nut driver whenever I know a screw clamp is involved! Straight screwdrivers slip out repeatedly when trying to loosen or tighten one. I have run into a few with 3/8" but most are 5/16.

Try using Coldfire as your class a. No nasty fluorinated foams. I’ve used it and I’m quite happy with it. It’s actually not to bad as far as price goes and it’s natural you could almost drink it (don’t say you should tho). And it’s good on class b fires too so it packs a double punch. Just make sure to use the right aspiration nozzle for class b’s

My husband works in construction, he’s a pipe layer. He had a repetitive strain injury on his right shoulder for years. We used to have to try to tape ice bags and wrap elastic bandage around his shoulder after work. His wasn’t torn, but same area. The only thing that started helping his muscle injury heal was when I started feeding him jello and adding plain gelatine to most of our cooking. Muscle and skin injuries benefit from more animal protein in the diet. It’s needed to rebuild the tissue properly.

Next time you have a stuck hose, use and air compressor to help blow off the stuck hose. Lift up a corner of the hose with your pick and blow in the compressed air.

If I put my hands to the side in an L shape. That was leveled with my shoulders, I couldn't push up without pain, for me it was aching pain, 3 doctors said it was a rotator cuff. They had my arm in so many positions I couldn't tell you how many or what pain means what but the doctors on here could and The doctors knew I was a pitcher in high school and in college without prior knowledge.
