In this video, Early Decision & Early Action Dilemma Fafsa Delayed" We talk about Early decision plans are binding: A student who is accepted as an ED applicant must attend the college. Early action plans are non-binding: Students receive an early response to their application but do not have to commit to the college until the normal reply date of May 1. And how applying to Early Action or Early Decision since the Fafsa Form this year will open late.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is a form completed by current and prospective college students in the United States to determine their eligibility for student financial aid. The FAFSA is different from CSS Profile, which is also required by some colleges.
The right way to look to answer the Common App's Financial aid question. The Commonapp Question about whether or not you are applying for need based financial aid or not.
Financial aid is money received from an outside source to help pay for a higher education. It can cover costs like tuition and fees, books and supplies, room and board, transportation, and some living expenses. A variety of places, such as the government, school, or private businesses offer financial aid for college, and there are different types such as grants, scholarships, work-study, and loans.

Thank u so much for your information
Looking for college for nursing Bplus average in CT or NJ. We qualify for FAFSA. But noticed most schools are 30K
Grateful for this info. Morris County School of Technology class of 2025
Thanks Ed. For Early Decision, if you get accepted you must attend that college but what if it cost is just too much. Can you decline and not go?
Thank you for the informative videos. David Brearly Middle/High School Kenilworth 2025
Hello Ed, we do not qualify for FASFA however in order to graduate from a NJ high school, we must apply for FASFA on behalf of our child correct? So on the Common App we had to put that we are applying (even though we know we will not receive any federal money).
Thanks for the details; West Morris Central High School 2025
