I look forward to your garden tours all week. I love the moss garden in your bird bath, such a good idea! I added 2 deutzia to my front yard after learning about them from your garden. Thank you for always sharing the names of so many of the plants in your garden.
I have literally watched hundreds of garden videos but this is THEE most gorgeous and enjoyable I've ever seen!❤ I sooo want to just copy this garden top to bottom, fence, walkways and all!😊😊❤ it gives me such joy!!
Soleil, thank you so much for taking us along on these weekly tours. There’s so much inspiration in every direction! The garden changes quickly at this time of year, so this way, we don’t miss anything. And the new fence is such a beautiful (and practical) backdrop.
There are three hosta varieties that are sun-tolerant: Rainforest Sunrise, Great Expectations and August moon. I have these in full sun and they do very well. The August moon actually turn a beautiful bright neon yellow.
Hi Soleil, can you please show us how you do your rock borders? They look so clean and tidy! How do you do it so the grass doesn’t grow between the rock? Thx ❤❤❤ 🇨🇦 🇨🇦 🇨🇦
I LOVE your garden tours! There’s so much to enjoy I’ve gleaned ideas for my landscaping. My snowball bush was eaten by deer😡 I need a fence! Again I ❤️ how you take care of your garden with tender loving care. You know the names of every plant too😄 Great job!!!!
I am pretty sure the indigo colored plant is a clustered bell flower ( Campanella glomerta) This flower is the only flower I received from my sweet Oma. I garden in zone 3 and they are quite invasive. They are really nice as a cut flower. As the flowers go over just trim the flower stem off. Definely hardy to a zone 3.
Love the variety of colors, sizes, and forms in your borders: awesome composition! Your description is also very inviting and inspiring. I would like to hear more about how you plan to propagate your heucheras: via cuttings or some other way? Maybe you’ll have another video soon showing us your technique!
The one you had for a while in the corner is called Multi Blue clematis ( I have this one as well) And the other one growing with the dr Rupel is called a Diamantina Clematis.
Alliums are just so happy looking, the garden looks amazing. I n pgh pa we have had so much rain but hot temps also. The ground is so muddy . I love all the colors .
Hi Soleil! You definitely have a lot going on in your garden. I love the door painted. You might want to also consider painting the white muntins the same color as the door. I have a black door that I painted the muntins black as well and it is really took the look up a notch I think. Thanks for sharing your garden.
Your gardens are so lush and green - beautiful tour! It's too bad the beetles got to the viburnums, however, I can't wait to see what you put in their place. The new paint on your doors looks great - they look like brand new doors. The magic of paint!
My holly shrubs did not like our winter in southern WI. I'm thinking they will need to come out. My gardens are also lush this spring. It has been such a joy to watch the plants come to life.
I'm also in south/central WI and cover my holly shrubs with burlap every winter. Keeps the deer from eating them and protects them from the cold. They seem to like it.
I came across your channel for the first time today and you garden is an absolute DREAM 😍. So inspiring and gorgeous! I’ll definitely be following to see how it progresses through the spring and summer.
So beautiful!! My plants are still going into my garage for the night bc it’s so close to freezing. It feels like a late Spring 😢 However, last year at this time my province was on fire so I’ll take the rain & the cold without complaint…..at least until June 😅
Wow! Everything is looking fresh and beautiful after the rainfall. I have a very small garden in comparison and would love to one day have my fence line completely planted like yours 😊 You are a great gardener and I enjoy your space … and look forward to the changes from season to season as I have considered many of the same plants.
Beautiful! Looking forward to future videos to see how everything progresses, you're an excellent gardener, Thanks for sharing so many details it helps us new gardeners.
Greeting's from Ireland, Great video and a beautiful garden. Your hosta's look great unlike mine which the slugs and snail's have appeared in there drove's. I use slug trap's and lift the pot's and murder them. We had the wettest march on record whether or not that has increased there number's. Also this is the first year I have found snail's in the garden I always had slugs. May be one flew over the garden fence from the neighbour's garden you never know nowadays, thing's are gone to the dog's
Everything is looking so lush. Your hostas look amazing. I have a couple that have been slower coming up. I will be pruning my tulips, looking ratty. Question… do the little flowers on the Brunneras need to pruned eventually? Not sure or are they a continuous bloom. They are beautiful 🌿💙
Hi Soleil! Your yard looks beautiful as always. Any chance your clematis is The President? I have one in my yard that looks very similar to the one you weren't certain about. And maybe the geranium from Costco is Kaya? I have some from Costco that look like yours 🌸🌺🌷
Thank you. I believe it is the Kaya geranium! It looks a little like the president, but then the center opens into addition petal like forms so I think it is something different....
Love your garden! Where did you overwinter your florist hydrangea? It looks so lush. I plant out any I get in a protected area of my garden after they flower and so far I only have one that has survived after many years of trying.

You're such a wonderful gardener. Every garden bed is a tapestry of color and texture. My deutzia have gone over but they were glorious this year!
Yes, the deutzia seem to have thrived with the extra moisture and clouds.
I have literally watched hundreds of garden videos but this is THEE most gorgeous and enjoyable I've ever seen!❤ I sooo want to just copy this garden top to bottom, fence, walkways and all!😊😊❤ it gives me such joy!!

Yes, I believe you are correct. I try to pull it out and think it is gone and then it springs back. I am glad that it is a pretty flower at least.

Oh Soleil, I love the newly painted doors, bravo! Much softer and compliments the house brick, fence, etc.
Thank you very much, it is taking me some time to get used to it!

Great idea, not sure about that, but will think about it!! I cam see how that would look amazing with black!!!

Your doors look awesome, the lighter color really makes all the difference. You could paint the ceiling of the porch also.

It was such a wet spring here too, but we have so many birds maybe they are cleaning up the slugs and snails for me.
@@Suburbanoasis My next door neighbour has loads of cats and they have scared off the little birds.
Lovely garden

Yes prune the brunner flowers
My chive have been blooming for 3 weeks, I live in Indiana zone 6a
That's awesome!!
Labai gražus, erdvus ir išpuoselėtas jūsų sodas... Malonu buvo pasivaikščioti ir pasigrožėti☺👍

do you divide your hosta all the time, to keep it contained ? They like to spread. I love the colors of the hosta
Yes I do when they need it.
The garden that you have the arborvitae in is that in the shade and do you ever trim the sides? My arborvitae doesn't look as tight as yours.
There are many different varieties of arborvitae. These are the emerald green variety and I have not trimmed them much at all.
Love your garden! Where did you overwinter your florist hydrangea? It looks so lush. I plant out any I get in a protected area of my garden after they flower and so far I only have one that has survived after many years of trying.
I overwintered it in our shed.
@@Suburbanoasis thanks! Did you water it over the winter too?
Your garden looks beautiful ❤ Do the bunnies do much damage? I think the bunnies are eating my hostas.
The bunnies are eating my hostas. I need to spray some more. Grrrr....
Beautiful
God I wish I lived in your state. I’m a new gardener and would love free hostas. They’re my obsession but are so expensive🥺
Most plants seem to be pretty expensive these days for sure!!
Where is your fountain from? (The one next to the weigela)
I purchased it off Wayfair website. 🙌
You absolutely CAN divide spirea
Yes, I am planning to try!
Your shade garden do you mulch the walkway
Yes!!
@@Suburbanoasis ok I haven't seen that part I guess I am not looking good at the video which one would it be
You mentioned sedum propagation. Can you please share any information. Thanks.
Does the bee house do well for you?
So so...
Do you ever host tours for people in your community?
I have once and have a garden group planned for a tour in July.
Will it be open to the public or private invite?
Beautiful salvia! Were you able to locate the name?
Still not positive, but thinking it could be Violet Profusion 💜
So nice garden 🎉 how many years of it?
I have lived here about 20 years and it has changed a lot over those years.
@Suburbanoasis thanks for answer) now I understand why garden is so beautiful. And you know all about garden)))) I will try too)
Beautiful garden!!!!!!
How do you stop the rabbits 🐇 from disturbing your garden ? They're eating everything in mine 😩
