Crête et Faille d'Aujour (1834 m) ￨ Randonnée ￨ Gapençais ￨ Hauts-Alpes 05 ￨ France

Location is the village of le Saix, close to Gap, south of the high mountains of the Dévoluy.
The walk follows the ridge of the Montagne d'Aujour. Right after the summit is reached, the walk descends down the Faille d'Aujour, It is a passage through the rocks, the highlight of this walk.
At moderate altitude, this hike has beautiful views and some spicey elements. So when the weather is bad in the higher regions you can go here and have a walk with a bit of an Alpine bite.
It is a long day with about 1000 meters of altitude gain.

Bonjour Michèle
En général, c'est une promenade très agréable avec de superbes vues. Il y a une paroi rocheuse à escalader. Il fait 4 mètres de haut, mais l'escalade est facile. Vous pouvez le voir dans la vidéo. La descente est plus facile qu'il n'y paraît. Ce passage est un peu aéré mais rien de trop effrayant ou méchant.
J'aime aussi le Sud. Très charmant et belles couleurs. Je pense que je vais y aller en mai de cette année
