You're plane looks great! Have you tested thrust after installation? I'm concerned about the inlet bullet causing turbulence. I think I'd leave it out for the maiden.
The largest build I have almost fully made with a hand drafted scale plan I used a screen shot on my phone used a ruler to measure if then scaled it to fit one of my lipo batteries and with more measurements and scaled up drawings it turned out to be pretty close to the scaled down dimensions of the yak15 so I got lucky
We can call Yak-15 the father of Yak-23. I think you should make Yak-23 too. Yak-23 was the best fighter among the aircraft of its period. It flew in the same year as the F-86.
Could you make a video on how you designed the plane? I’ve always wanted to model my own 3d printed rc plane but never knew how to go about designing one.
@T12345-j there's an excellent TH-cam channel called Cadbuildfly, he does in-depth builds. He'll teach you the basics and he does so many different airplanes.
Keep going and good luck, but for your safety and the safety of others, find a local model club to test fly it at, not the park. Depending on if you’re in the UK or not, and what access to Article 16 you hold, you may also be flying illegally in a park.
@@TinmanRC_Official It was probably divine intervention that my planes never flew :). I just joined my local flying club, I don't want to put people at risk.
Your persistence in this great project elicit respect.
People think this is easy. Those of us who do it know it is not.
Keep at it. It is a very nice project.
Video is sooo real. great content man! hope you'll get it in the air very soon.
YES I'VE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR SOMEONE TO MAKE THIS AIRCRAFT IN RC. This is awesome bro.
@@halodude4481 I feel that too :)
It’s looking beautiful! Can’t wait to see it fly
Keep going! Your patience and perseverance will pay off💪
Nice work, hope you have a good maiden.
Joe
Dont give up my friend ,its gona fly im sure and i cant wait to 3d print my own one when youll make IT avalble
You could try Flaperons instad of seperate Flaps
i love this, keep going
I suggest to use QIDI TECH PETG-Toug filament for landing gear.
I hope that the beautiful aircraft you have designed will take off soon.
@@kashiwase2007 I'll have a look at it :) thanks for the suggestion.

@@stevec7596 that's probably a good idea, thanks :)
This is amazing now I wish my yak15 build was done now
@@dill_hill what kind of build is it ?
It's made of normal foamboard and a red index card thick sheet paper for the skin and would be powered with a close to 3 inch diameter edf
So it's around 4 foot wingspan

@dill_hill I've always wanted to do my own scale drawings. I hope you do finish the Yak-15, we need more of them in the world.
if you end up making a mk 5, i would make the wings removeable at the wing root instead of the wing tip, it will make storing it easier
@@benramsey8937 That's the plan. If this flies then the mk 5 is what everyone else will be getting. I've got a few modifications in mind.

@@hamzaterzi8801 I'm going to cover all the early Soviet jets eventually, I love the design language of the USSR.

@ Thank you. I will definitely be checking it out!

👍Good luck with the project, but this plane is difficult to fly. Very fast and sensitive to control commands. Be ready.
