This is one of the best coffee documentary ever ⭐️ So proud of you!
Thank you so much!! I’m so glad you enjoyed it!!
This film is definitely content-worthy for consideration to a major film festival and a piece that you may want to contemplate for submission. Strongly give consideration to one of the major film festivals out there. Research was superbly done for coffee's historical value and your personal perspective was flavorful. Kudos re: writing filming, editing, color technique, etc. used. The patching sequences were on point!

16:33 that is the most New York man to ever New York
A fantastic piece of work, you should be very proud of it!❤
Thank you for taking the time to create this doc. For me, being in NYC as much as I have, I know the importance of coffee culture. (I even have one of those ceramic greek coffee cups on my office desk to remind me...) That said, damn when I was back in June, I tried a couple of "new to me" places and was horrified on how bad the coffee was. Had to put A LOT of sweetener in... Oh well, maybe I am just a old guy who likes my diner and street coffee black. Again, great doc, everyone who is at least interested in NYC should see it.
Just lovely. Thank you.
Loved this documentary. Learned so much about where it comes from and how it finally makes it to the cup... Also love the cafes you visited. I can see myself just "being" there enjoying my cup of coffee.. Once again Ariel you hit it right on.... I am going to try to order beans from Porto Rico Importing co..
This is amazing to hear that you felt immersed into the documentary 🙌 and hope you can get Porto Rico delivered to you!
@@UrbanistExploringCities I ordered and it should be here in a few days. Ordered 2 lbs. can’t wait to try it. ♥️☕️♥️. Thank you.
My favorite thing is coffee beans ☕ and TH-cam ❤🎉
Mmmm Coffee ☕
I’m happy that I can combine both loves in one experience 😁
Looking forward to your Christmas in NY doc. What after that
Pizza in Ny. Or how bout Tim Waits!!!
This is very interesting. As a Swede who was raised on strong black coffee (no sugar), it was hard to find good coffee when I first visited NYC a decade ago. Tried Starbucks for the first time but that latte didn't even taste coffee. On my third trip, I realized that greek diners was the way to go. Fit my Swedish taste buds perfectly.
But it seems to me that, for my tastes, coffee is getting better in NYC. Ten years ago I thought coffee from the Swedish café FIKA was too weak, it felt too catered to local tastes. But on my latest visit (the sixth one) this spring, I lived near a small coffee shop belonging to Kitten Coffee Roasters in Brooklyn, and they were great, and even the closest bodega had coffee that was... not fantastic, but definitley good enough.
While I like a good latte or cappuccino, I don't quite get the point of those coffee drinks that's filled with enough milk and sugar and flavor syrup and other stuff that hides the actually taste of coffee. No shade to those who do, though, because I agree with the thught that the right way to make coffee is by making it the way you like.
But I am glad that it's much easier to find good coffee flavored coffee in NYC know, compared with just a few years ago. At least in my experience.
Anyways... I just felt the need to share some of my thoughts on, and experience with, the New York coffee. Thank you for a great and enlightning documentary!
outstanding
Watching it Again ❤🎉
Love it!
Wow, that's impressive! Icneed something like that for every major city in the world please! :D
It looks very entertaining 😀👍
so deep in to coffee now just 2 min left
I looked for that Greek coffee cup EVERYWHERE and I couldn’t find it! 😢
❤❤❤

Went to NYC in 2018 and 2019. Love the place with a passion EXCEPT for one thing. The coffee. Coffee in America is rubbish.
not nyc coffee but coffees are from south america, ethiopia, africa, etc
❤❤❤
