Yes! The whole thing very impressive, but when the guitar solo got going I jumped up out of my chair swearing and smiling. That had the real Rush spirit in it. Amazing!
I live in the states but have some Canadian friends. If there's one thing that I have noticed all Canadians have in common is they take pride in their love for ice hockey and the rock band Rush. Probably the greatest band ever! 😁😎🤘
YES! I was sitting here listening as the solo approached not even thinking about it and the small break that happens right as he starts is when I said whoa! Blown away from then on
My comment about "climbing the highest mountains" probably sounds fricken corny to most. But I've done that stuff and the mental aspect is greater than the physical. Keep charging forward! You musicians who are learning Rush - keep charging forward! Learn from many different and older bands. Rush is just one band, amazing as they are. Learn from everyone.
I'm 56 and loved rush since I was 10. This was an awesome display here. Self-taught drummer here that was motivated by Rush. Neil was my virtual mentor.
We have a very, very similar story. Same age group, a self-taught percussionist. Neil, his drumming and portions of his personal philosophy are with me every single day. He keeps on teaching me.
This is a VERY WELL performed cover. Great musicianship all the way around. The lead singer's voice is absolutely splendid and confident. She makes me think of Mariska Veres. And, yes, the guitar solo is solid. The drumming and base keep a strong bottom, and the keyboards gives this quite that 80's Rush vibe as well.
I worked in the music industry for 20 years in Boston, NY, Phoenix and LA/Hollyweird. I did artist management and development. Met two of the members of RUSH a few times. Huge fan, saw on 22 tours starting in 1978. With that said, THIS BAND RAWKS! I'm impressed!
Neil Peart bought a ton of motorcycle restoration parts from me thru the years and we developed a great friendship. One of the nicest men I ever dealt with and incredibly entertaining to talk to. A great Canuck.
Wow that must've been cool to have met the band members! May I ask which band members you met? Me and my brother saw Rush live in concert during their Power Windows tour back in 1985 at the Cap Center in Maryland. Big crowds and no chance for us teenagers then to go backstage 😂
Anytime some takes on Rush they know there is a sea of fans that care about every cover. Geddy's unique is always a challenge. Micky did a terrific take on it. The whole band lived up to expectations. Awesome work!
Okay. Rush die hard for nearly 40 years. These a great many bands, artists and groups I love, but there has never been a band like Rush! They are a singular thing in all of pop/prog/hard rock. No one like them. Nuff said. Now, with that out of the way. LOVED IT. Band nails it all, but most impressed with the guitarist. Lifeson’s Signals tone and crunch dialed in perfectly. The solo section???? LOOK OUT! In the best possible way!! NICE JOB GUYS!!!
Rush is my favorite band so when people cover their songs I can be pretty judgmental. This is a killer cover, her vocals complement Geddy’s. RIP Neil 🥁
Superb job guys & girl. So cool that so many of the Rush tribute bands have a female for the vocalist. Adds a whole new dimension and quality.🤘🖖✌️🥁🎸🎹🎤🥇🇨🇦🎼
This band is Amazing, at first my thoughts were, "how many musicians does it take to play rush. "Just kidding" That girl is a great singer! perfect voice.
i wanted to incorporate a female singer in our rush tribute....that is exactle what i was envisionning...that is fucking great, this girl sing rush like a girl should sing rush.the right tone, the right attitude.that is very, very good rendition.
The future of Rush cover bands is hiring girls to sing. They sound very well, and the guys who dare to sing higher as Geddy will soon face the limitations of the aging. By the way, let me know if your band have a TH-cam channel or other social network.
Hey Alex ..... I mean.....great cover...the vocalist also keeping measured level in the Key of Ged . One of the tightest RUSH covers I've heard. Note for note studio version. Great mix/ EQ'd each instrument in its correct level . Balanced performance and sonics and as tight as I've ever heard. 😮🎉bravo!
One of my favorite records. That era RUSH reminds me of post season little league/ babe Ruth league - winning traveling tournaments deep into summer month until high school baseball would actually have to give way to a drum kit and a guitar. Who would have guessed \?
If.kid gloves was on power windows (wal bass). Signals was the last of the driven ric tone albums, and last with Terry brown. Rush had clean "boutique" bass from then on until counterparts where the caveman had him pull out the jazz again.
What’s drummers must always understand when playing a Rush song is there Hass to be more than just keeping the time and playing the notes. You must play exacting, solid and tight… Rush, is no place for loose playing You must attack every note with grace. Like the guitar player did here.
As a Torontonian and Rush fan of decades.... That guitar solo was fabulous.
Yes! The whole thing very impressive, but when the guitar solo got going I jumped up out of my chair swearing and smiling. That had the real Rush spirit in it. Amazing!

I will say the best thing to come out of Toronto is is Rush. 😊From Vancouver, the other woke city.
Killer performance.
only takes 3 people to cover Geddy's part bravo
Musicians who tackle Rush music and accomplish what this band has done is epic. It's like climbing the highest mountains.

I play bass and learning Rush was best thing for my bass playing. I am now learning guitar and learning Rush songs. Its doing the same thing.
GETTING A GLIMPSE OF RUSH HIGH ABOVE...I AGREE...
Unbelievable guitarist. You can see how happy he was nailing that solo, he deserves every ounce of pride for that!
Indeed, no sweat. Guys unbelievable.
A huge round of applause on that guitar solo !
Like the title of the DVD, a show of hands.
Rush songs bring tears to my eyes. Was banging to this in my room as a teenager ❤
The Guitar player is really good!! Nailed it!!

@@tyanite1 Sweet!
good to see young people playing Rush..... and playing it well!
I am stone cold in love with the singer she is mind-blowingly beautiful
Great job! Coming from someone who has seen Rush 49 times.
...And it only took 5 of them to do it! Amazing!
I'm Canadian and I approve this cover!
Any cover of the great triumvirate is a homage and this one is brilliant. Well played and thanks for sharing!
No easy feat playing this kind of music, especially this well. Awesome job.
Especially when it’s only three members

Holy cow! Nailed that solo!! Great job by the whole band. The singer…❤
Don't know who this woman is, but I just might be in love! Very good job folks. Very good job! 💯👍
Her voice reminds me of her face: Beautiful. Great group of musicians. Thanks for making my morning. Greetings from Pennsylvania.
Liked the quality of her voice to this song, she has the right sound for this in my opinion, and the guitar solo was phenomenal!
My favorite Rush song as a fan since I was 14. Great work by all, especially the solo!!
crushed the guitar solo. by far, alex's most underrated solo ever. fight me on that :)
One of Alex's masterpieces.

Masterful and energetic guitar playing, spot on and faithful, Micky's vocals are very full bodied and powerful, excellent.
Holy moly that solo was absolutely spot on.
Loved RUSH since '78, but also luv this black-haired beauty singing them
Absolutely did this song and the band justice. One of my fav songs by Rush, from a very underrated era of the band.
Definitely not underated era. This album came just after Moving Pictures, their most celebrated album. A hugely praised era.

They did great musically but if you want to hear a vocal that stacks up check out the tribute Lotus Land.
...maybe my favorite Rush tune.....I approve!!!
Wow! Absolutely brilliant fantastic! Every member great! One of my favorite Rush songs!! Perfect guitar and vocals! Thank you!
Incredible. Thank you. Band & singer, very well done. Joop incredible axe man

Killer cover !!! The guitar effects were perfect as well as the playing. I saw Rush more than 20 times and I think they would be impressed.
Superb job guys & girl. So cool that so many of the Rush tribute bands have a female for the vocalist. Adds a whole new dimension and quality.🤘🖖✌️🥁🎸🎹🎤🥇🇨🇦🎼
Guitar solo is absolute fire. Spot. On.
That is so much talent on one stage. Excellent cover.
I'm Canadian and I approve rhis cover!

Oh my, my brain just melted!
🤘🤘 Solo was on point! Great job all around. Brought me back to high-school.
Really nice cover, you guys made pretty cool atmosphere for this song. And I'm very jealous bass player because his Wal Bass and sound.
Brillant!!
Love the singer!!
my godness, shes so gorgeous
That swamp looking thing on the guitar crushed it! He was the best in the band full stop …
One of my favorite records. That era RUSH reminds me of post season little league/ babe Ruth league - winning traveling tournaments deep into summer month until high school baseball would actually have to give way to a drum kit and a guitar. Who would have guessed \?
These guys are f***in awesome
she looks like amiee mann gorgeous and the band is good.. well done friends
Nailed that solo.
That guitar solo jeezus. Great performance in general.
If.kid gloves was on power windows (wal bass). Signals was the last of the driven ric tone albums, and last with Terry brown. Rush had clean "boutique" bass from then on until counterparts where the caveman had him pull out the jazz again.
Bloody hell..that was epic. Rush tribute acts better be on top form, and they are.
RUSH is like a common weed where-as it's so easy to get high on ...🌬
Great job on this, really enjoyed the hearing the song with a female vocalist.
Rush the best in the galaxy

Guitar solo💪👍🌹
Great band and amazing singer!!!!
very good. :-) outstanding voice, beautiful, great match for the music!!
Gosh!! Beautiful guys
Apaixonado pela vocalista ❤
WELL DONE! Hello from Canada!
Excellent!!!!!
Super impressive. And echo all the comments regarding the solo. WOW!
EXCELLENT! LOVE IT!
Great job, guys! The guitarist actually played the solo more correct to the album, than I ever heard Alex play it live!
of course, because alex lifeson gets bored playing it the same way 200 concerts a year so he changes it up. But this band is pretty good.
More correct? No.
@@lisasmithline1386 More corrector?
@@ellavaderknows , no. Neither of your responses make sense.
@@lisasmithline1386 Mucho Correctamundo??
Nailed it. 🙏🏼
PERFECT! PERFECT! Cheers from Brazil!
Não pode faltar brasileiro em vídeo sobre o Rush.
Demos à banda a melhor plateia da vida deles.
@@principiosativos estive no Morumbi em 2010! Um dos melhores dias da minha vida!
