- After so many years I finally got this done and over with, sorry guys, if you are still waiting. Ha.
Decided to take a short break from the let's play/walkthrough for a while, kinda demotivated with the low view count as it seems like the walkthrough isn't interesting enough. Oh well, I felt like adding another game/series that I have been playing recently, but not really sure whether anyone would be interested though. Please leave a comment if you are reading this~
Back to topic, as a Hero, Harken is stronger than Raven in all aspects, including being emo (lol). Higher con, fire affinity, supports with fire affinity, early B rank in Axe, he got them all. Not to mention that Hard mode Harken version easily has the best stats for a recruitable member. With some statboosters (and RNG abuse), you can get him to max stats. Brave Axe is so broken that Nergal's overwhelming power lost to the emo soldier, it still does 0 damage to the dragon though. Go Basilikos! - เกม

During Feb, when FE Heroes came out, my FE vids (uploaded during that time) suddenly had a lot of views within a short time frame. After the hype had gone down, the view count also goes up slowly again. I don't think it's about my channel exposure anymore, maybe it's just that Intelligent Systems/Nintendo have to make another popular one to help me advertise. xD
Also, subscribers-requested solo runs for Guy/Wallace/Florina will be up soon!
You can tell it's done by siaoz because half of the crits are useless.

They're at peace when they pass away, due to being under Nergal's control for so long.
It makes me sad because it's the only way to make them happy: killing them and freeing them from Nergal's control :(
@@CrickettoSantalune If you farm Nino (good luck with that) and make her fight the Four Fangs, the Morph bosses and Nergal, you'll discover that they were already beyond saving, no matter if alive or dead. Jaffar, Ninian, Nils and Nino herself were the only exceptions.
It's because the Morphs anchor the souls of the bodies they're trying to imitate to the world of the living...

I got Karel first try... He was... average, but he wasn't useless...
So. If you wont do effort in that chapter. You'll get a great pre-promote. But if you do effort. You get someone who isn't bad but not great, unless it's fe6.
Actually (at least in Kenneth's map) it takes more effort and better strategy to get Harken, as you must NOT kill 2 or more promoted enemies. In the room right above where you begin there is already a General and a Sage, AND THEY MOVE. So:
1) You can only kill one of them. Therefore, you must run away from the other.
Inside the main building, there is a Bishop with Purge. So:
2) Since you are probably killing one of the first promoted enemies to at least SURVIVE, you can no longer kill the Bishop.
In the building near Harken/Karel's Spawning Point there is also a Druid with Eclipse. So:
3) See point 2 above. At least Eclipse isn't as bad as Purge.
AND Harken appears as an Enemy Unit, after 9 turns. So:
4) You must survive 9 turns with a Sage/General pursuing you, a Bishop using Purge and a Druid using Eclipse, and let's not forget the Mage with Bolting.
5) You must have more than 6 move and/or Ninian with you to recruit him without getting attacked. At least several characters can recruit him.
So yeah, getting Harken is way tougher than getting Karel in Kenneth's map. However, your statement is correct if you were talking about Jerme's map.
Balloon Boy yes. I never really encountered the Kenneth route so it's just our preference.

I still can't get over how a translation error (Aesir/Quintessence vs. Aenir/HIS WIFE) ruins the payoff for going the extra mile with gaiden chapters.
That's why I am still using the old fan translation patch for FE6, the characters' names changed so much in the localization, and most of them weren't necessary.

I found this video I think last year. And ever since, I'm watching this several times on any other day. I think this is one of my favorites in your content - about Harken.
If Harken were to be introduced someday in Fire Emblem Heroes, I'm gonna build the hell out of 'im! I also hope if he ever gets debut on FEH, he gets a GREAT art!!
Btw, kudos to this video. You know, I envy this Harken's stat of yours. You seem to max almost all of his stats (Except movement and constitution) I played Blazing Sword so many time, and I always use Harken, but it always turns out I can't max his resistance. I dunno why, but I think I suck at raising his resistance LoL!!!

Most probably axes, since accuracy isn't really an issue here with all the good supports and stuff. Axe has the highest might so I might just go with that. It's really great to see people asking for the less popular characters too. x)
Honestly, I would have asked for Sophia FE 6, since I'm OBSESSED with Sophia, but thanks for doin' Wallace. If you can do Sophia for FE 6 chapters 21 on, that'd be fun. She's the endgame goddess, even without any stat boosters 'cept a Body Ring.

The Erector Raven has more potential, I barely use Harken ( except for the occasional gaiden chapter)

Swordslayer makes it easy because the triangle effect is reversed and doubled, so an axe user can actually hit (and evade) more accurately than a lance user. Just remember to bait Lloyd out of Linus' range to remove that support bonus.

He's soloing the chapter with a specified character and he doesn't want the forced deployment characters getting in the way

No, it's because most of the people he fought were villains, so they had boss battle tracks, and that's just the normal battle track for Dragon's Gate. The track on both phases are also for Dragon's Gate.

When I had Harken during my Hector Mode playthrough, I knew he was going to be a good unit, but not THIS good.

Saizos, don't you just love Nergal's dumb ass priority AI? It's saved my ass on so many occasions, 'cause he's stupid and randomly suicides on my units 1st move in Enemy phase. Why he does not have negative priority AI, I will never understand.
Harken isn't better than Raven though,they are on equal terms.Harken is likely going to be stronger than Raven by the time he joins,mainly because Harken joins really high-level,but Raven has better growths and better join-time,so its not going to take too long for Raven to surpass him.Putting both on the same level,Raven has higher:Hp,higher skill and higher speed.Harken has slightly higher strength,higher luck,higher defence, and higher resisntance.Harken will have a better weapon rank in axes ,but Raven will help you more,via higher join time.

Promoting a sword-locked unit at level 20 just to -slightly- surpass Harken doesn't make Raven better. It takes alot of time, not to mention about that axe grinding too.

Even if you can train him fast, you just stated that a base level 8 Harken still had 4 out of the 7 stats higher than a 20/8 Raven. He also had a higher Axe rank (and Con) too.
Raven is decent, but Harken is still better because you don't have to train him for his high stats.
@Father i would like to see raven do "A double and kill with devil axe equals 24 wexp" with his low con, he is even slower than dorcas if you give him the devil axe. also, i would rather use another weapon and not waste time hitting a dummy unit for the sake of wexp, that's like saying nino is better than pent if you waste the time to grind for her wexp, then say using torch/unlock staves give more wexp, which doesn't make any sense.
