No cats , it would be best to get test pipes . But get resonated test pipes so you don't get an annoying drone sound . Motodyne art pipes are the best but they're expensive.
Easily my fave setup I have seen from SOHO - perfect for us "boring" people that want something reliable/fun... I love this Z because he actually had the balls to leave it stock looking and washed/cleaned (what a concept for a lot of alleged "car fans").
I really want to do the kit. 09 Sport Touring AT owner. I may be reaching out to you in the next few months. Or is the AT a problem to handle the power? Also where are you located?
We are located just outside of charlotte, north carolina The nice thing about the supercharger kit is that they do not make a lot of torque With all of our automatic transmission clients, we recommend the following items to help in the longevity of the transmission: - billet flex plate - transmission oil cooler If you do those additional modifications with the system, then you will be set Let us know if you have any further questions or give us a call at 704-839-0435 or shot us an email to support@sohomotorsports.com.
@@SOHOMotorsports I will be reaching out soon. Most likely in a month or two. I am located close to North Carolina ironically. Do you do the tune in house as well?
@@novromo2282 Lol I don't even drive a vq anymore, I couldn't care less who's to blame haha , I had a boosted z tuned by admin for 2 years now, I wasn't making no 800 horsies or nun but it was fast reliable and fun I can't see him making being at fault for anything. Never went the n/a route like a lot of you broke boys
Very lame , mine has 80,000 miles and it's clean as fuck still because I wash it once a week and wax it every month or so . No point in having a sports car if you don't drive the shit out of it , I love beating on my Z , best $26,000 I've spent . No way you can possibly know your car if you don't drive it , you have to put miles on it and learn how it handles and drives to really push it to it's limits . Don't be afraid to drive it if you don't ever wanna sell it , I plan on keeping mine forever so miles mean nothing to me , when engine goes after I boost it then I'll just buy a crate engine brand new from Z1 for around $6000 not bad at all .
That engine bay looks delicious
Love watching your videos and updates. Cant wait for my sc lyte kit and built VR30 7 at to come in. Thanks Nik n Justin for the help.
Nick Kevin’s 370 is just as clean as mine! Nice job!
That motordyne exhaust always sounds great with any FI set up. Love the vids guys.
Can’t wait to have it installed on my 3.7 q50
Really clean and that's gotta be one of my favorite exhaust sounds!!
I did not know that high flow cats were an issue for boosted Zs. That must mean that stock cats are really an issue?
Back pressure sucks
Good thing is you can sell your stock cats for more than test pipes cost . Unless you want motordyne art pipes , those cost an arm and a leg .
Whats the 0 to 62
Can you do the same setup on a infinit QX70 3.7L awd
Would going air to air on a stillen kit with resonated test pipes up the boost without changing the pulley?
boost may increase by a psi or so however nothing that would be detrimental
If high flow cats are a problem what cats would be best for boost

He’d be good in the rain without the wipers in light traffic and above 40 mph.

@@SOHOMotorsports Have you done any of those that want to ditch the stock 7AT and replace with the beefier 7AT from the Q60 RS?
We need outside views of the car to really see the speed
I need this.

Are stock cats a problem ?
yes. when boosted it will cause a lot of back pressure and could lead to head lift.
"Low power map" is by no mean low power
still hunting for my z 😂
Wow
Can't trust y'all after how y'all did Griffin
Bruh it was megamind tuning
