@@hyktaros7586 I think he is talking about the 2 quick slashes. Ongbal has to use a deflect into roll to dodge it here and in his other video he uses the talisman for backstep i-frames into roll. So I guess you just can't avoid both hits normally
Whats also interesting is the fact Radahn is the only one to have particles disapear from him (like any dead mob) but miquella just fades away. If a sequel does come out, we know that miquella's soul is still out there, probably looking for a new consort or malding.
Mid fight, I looked at Ongbal's health and saw it was about 5%, so I panicked and went back on the video to see where did Radahn hit him, till I figured it's an old injury from his days fighting Lord "Isshin" !!

@@jacobstucki3867 he actually has 2 versions of this attack, depending on how far away you are. If you are close, he just does a normal front flip slam, and will never do the 2nd one. If you are further away, he will launch himself by violently hitting the ground with his sword. He may do 2 in this version, but it's up to luck.
Getting the win with you dying always feels amazing in these games. The first time that happened to me in ER was the first Leonine Misbegotten, where we both went for the killing blow and mine landed first.

I think it would be cool to see his first playthrough fights, to see how a master instinctually kills an enemy they have never seen and don't know any of their moves.

And on top of all that, he learned the perfect timing to dodge with blinkbolt and even get the follow up attack off with it. Promised consort radahn is still an overtuned as hell boss and not built to be beaten by average players. Ongbal just happens to be an overtuned as hell player. I don't know what eldritch god you sold your soul to for this kind of unabated, sheer skill, but it was worth it Oh i just saw the description. Bro didn't even mention in the title that this was NG+7. I don't know if i should be stunned or insulted by how humble this guy is. Either way, this mans really has achieved something i doubt many other people could even dream of, let alone actually achieve. Literally a god amongst gamers.
It's not the weapon, but the hands that wield it. There are "this build is broken" videos all over TH-cam that I've tried to copy and still can't use them to beat Consort Radahn 😂
Honestly this is one of my favourite fights in Elden ring. The music hard carries it, but the first phase has an incredibly cool moveset that’s super fun to play against. I don’t really like the amount of spam in the second phase, but the spectacle and the easy punish windows kinda carry it for me, 4/5 boss, crazy fun.
I agree, if it weren't for the big punish windows and generous amount of healing the game gives you I think the fight would feel unbearable for the average player, but if you're patient, resourceful, and learn his phase 1 moveset well enough you can make it through. I think it balances out.

@@darkmatter9643 It is pretty tricky, but you can dodge it or stack Holy defense. I was able to block it with an UGS and the chip damage wasn't so bad.

I am getting closer it just comes down to identifying attacks you can counter instead of dodging actually really fun and challenging. We gotta use everything to fight final boss of the dlc and ER. I love this fight so much, it definitely feels final boss material; the music, the spetical, the bravado and the GamePlay. Has tiny blemishes but once you learn it you come to respect it. It has similar properties to Slave Knight Gael in the sence that Gael is suppose to be the final test if your DS3 abilities and is a test of you mastering what DS3 is all about which is timing your rolls. Consort Radahn is the same except is a test of what Elden Ring is all about: Dodge rolling, strafing and directional movement. Once you master those this boss does give you true final boss vibes like Gael. The follow up light attacks in phase 2 are the same as Gaels follow up red cape swipe where is the same as the last phase but now you have even less room for error. I strongly believe that Radahn as the final big bad in Elden Ring only makes sense and i love it. I love this boss.
Watering his other no hit match against radahn is what helped me finally beat him after 3 hours of gaping mouths and wall banging. You are the true FromGod
While I've been wrestling my way to try and beat this fight on my NG+3 game, your smooth execution is a bit of a reprieve, and chance for me to see how to handle a few of his attacks. My favourite clean interaction I've gotten so far has been with his circle of rocks that he throws down from the air. Since that's a sorcery, if you time to cast _JUST_ as he starts the upswing, Ranni's Dark Moon pull in and annihilate all the projectiles _BARELY_ before they hit you - and then the Moon will follow him down to the ground and hit him with the debuff. It's super satisfying and maybe an interaction you'd find a way to make use of if you do some more of these. Cheers!!
That's clever. I've also wondered if Carian Retaliation could absorb it, but beat him before I thought to try it. Although maybe it has too many projectiles, I don't recall exactly how it works.
Hi Guys, I was at NG+7 and watched so many tutorials and tried so many time but, couldn't beat him so I made my own build and I beat him in several tries. The main Component is - ⛔⛔SCARLET AEONIA ⛔⛔ You can use a high poise armour to tank his attacks(or at least try to) and use, (Talisman) DragonCrest Greatsheild Perldrake +3 Shard of alexander Godfrey Icon (Buffs) Golden Vow Flame, Grants Me Strength Blessing, of the Erdtree Lord's Divine Fortification Main weapon - Bolt of Gransax Story - So, the scarlet aronia eats through his health even if you are at NG+, you need to cast it a minimum 3 times in all three phases(3rd on is after he comes from the sky). I know it's harder to keep up with his attacks and bullshit but, you only have to cast the incantation and ran away across the map and heal. And if you are willing to use the mimic summon it will be very helpful. I was so stressed out, that's why i wanted to help you guys out. if I didn't do Shit with this message I'm Sorry Anyways, DON'T GIVE UP TARNISHED YOU CAN DO THIS

Story - So, the scarlet aronia eats through his health even if you are at NG+, you need to cast it a minimum 3 times in all three phases(3rd on is after he comes from the sky). I know it's harder to keep up with his attacks and bullshit but, you only have to cast the incantation and ran away across the map and heal. And if you are willing to use the mimic summon it will be very helpful.
