Teralflops doesn't make Xbox more powerfull. There's more to it than just teraflops, memory clock speeds, speed of memory etc. So basicly they are on bar overall.
Well ps5 ssd is rated at 5000mb/s and Xbox at 3500mb/s, that's faster on a hardware level. Same goes for additional storage. Xbox expansion is 3500mb/s too and ps5 is up to 7800 or whatever the currently fastest m.2 is. Storage speed is truth.

Worked fine the first week but now it seems to be a struggle for it to secure a steady connection
Try just keeping everything default in your modem for the ps5. Ive never had a issues connecting playstations to online. But xbox is famous for having issues without a properly set up and ported modem.

Its been changed. You can store your PS5 games on any external HDD approved for the PS5, you cannot play it though. This just means you're waiting for a movement of a file size, rather than a re-download.

The myth was about friends and rights, it is obvious you need to install all games you want to use. Most games I had on my external HDD and SSD do work fine, no need to download again unless there was a specific PS5 version.
PS5 storage is faster than series x, and PS5 can add a gen4 NVME internally that can run both PS4 and 5 games off of it. series x has some expansion card for expanded storage that is slower than its internal storage. do not know if the NVME slot for PS5 was useable when you made this, but it is now.

The user UI of the PS4 is easier to use. For some stupid reason it seems that Sony is trying to make people use the app for communication instead of the console. Also it seems that the PSN servers are fairly cheap on upload bandwith, making the upload time of screenshots of video's too long. Last year I switched ISP but the PS5 speedtest gives not even 5% of the available upload bandwith.
