Gorgeous lonely beach.. I didn't go to this beach when I was in Lisbon but if I remember correctly the ocean is quite cold in those parts 🥶😅🤗

Yeah, the water is quite cold, but funnily enough when the ocean is full of waves, it actually feels quite optimal. However, on days when the water is still, that's when it hits you just how cold the water is. It's still a great place to relax. The other smaller coves and beaches were just too crowded for our liking :) 😬🫣

The portuguese blue coast is amazing, and a good spot to eat and drink
Capuchos church have a beautiful pointview to Caparica beaches with a chapel made with sea shells
In Azeitão, a lovely villages with lotes of palaces full with tiles, u have teh Moscatel wine and the creamy cheeese, and the sweets.
In Sesimbra and Setubal the best fish, shellfish and sea food of the world.
And in Caparica the most gay nude beach of Portugal, the 19th beach (the number of the litle beach train that conects Costa da Caparica to Fonte da Telha).

You're very familiar with the area! Are you from there? We really appreciate all the details you've provided. We did have the best fish in Sesimbra. Setubal impressed us too! We'd love to see the other places you mentioned too as we love the less known spots and little gems like that! Many thanks 🙂

@@gtagide wow... lucky you! My brother has lived in Almada (and has previously lived in Lisbon) for quite a few years now, so Portugal is always on the list of places I want to explore more. It's definitely one of my favourite countries. It's just a pity that so much of the local population suffer due to high rents and lack of affordable housing in the Lisbon area. I hope the benefits of the increased tourist activity will eventually benefit the regular Portuguese citizen!

@@somewhere_crowdless the tourism bang in Portugal gave us more profict and employes, but with our lower salaries the rise of cost of living, specially the rents of houses are unberable for most of us that hern 800 euros month, and have to pay in Almada rents betwen 1200 to 1500 euros month. Imagine in Lisbon, Porto or Algarve .
Like in every country the rich are more rich, and the poor more poor. Always the sames get profits...

@@gtagide I know, it's totally unsustainable! The cost of living is spiralling out of control, and the tourism boom doesn't seem to help much to offset those extra expenses. If only the salaries could go up!

Don’t forget to tell that the water is cold….

@@markh5679 haha, true, but, to be honest, strangely it felt really refreshing and absolutely manageable on days when the waves were quite big. ... It definitely felt much colder on beaches with no waves at all. Then the frigid water gets to you much more 🥶!
