So here is a little story. Me and my buddy grew up on this. And after 15 something years we wanted to reminisce on this. As soon as ps2 spin the disc, the instant nostalgia hits. By the time intense music starts, we were already into it. So for the begging he took Stone Cold and I took Test, so we can kinda work our way up, you know. So he beats me and not a minute past by and it's like we haven't lost it a bit. So for out next (and last) match, he took Lesnar. Well fucking great, now I gotta take Goldberg if I wanted any chance. Now everybody who spent some time on this game knows that if you're fighting against Lesnar, you're in for a hell of a ride. So we wanted to intensify it. We made it an Last Standing Match. After two hours straight, and I'm not kidding two hours straight! We were playing the same match! I hit him with about 15 jackhammers and 10 spears at minimum, he stood like nothing fucking happened. The furthest count was 7! He hit me with about 20 F5's... same result, nothing. Both of our limb damage was red after about 15 minutes into match, we broke an announce table (the Spanish one) took both stairs, a sledgehammer, two chairs and a table. Nothing, it's like the game was made that way, that if you pick last man standing against these two on a two player. You're not ,and I mean you're not! Finishing the match. After two hours, we had to quit it.

I will never forget this game when I came home from school I went straight to the computer shop just to play WWE. It was my elementary days hindi pa uso ang mga peso net at internet cafe noon nag lalaro na ako nito, iniipon ko ang baon ko sa skwela para lang maka laro ng computer. Yung tipong mag aantay ka matapos yung bata na nag lalaro para ikaw na sunod sa kanya, ang saya lang balikan yung mga nag pasaya at naging parte ng kabataan mo noon.
No new versions of wwe games can beat this gem.

Never ever,....they may create better graphics but that feel we used to get from this game cannot be given by any game

Lesnar was overpowered af. He’s attack’s made the damage meter go crazy af. Goldberg definitely should of made he’s meter go crazy af too

The game physics are so much better than any other wrestling game, everything was better in the ruthless aggression Era of WWE. I hope 2k leaves WWE behind and let someone else adapt the series, it is only a matter of time.

because here comes the pain is one of a kind and had some aggression which define the Ruthless Aggression era .. each 2K game is a copy of it's previous with a horrible commentating, slow moves and terrible online gaming

Why? Just why? Why Did the F wrestling games up so bad after this? Why have they made like more than 10 games after this and this game is still 100 times more intense?? Why don't they stop making those lame, crappy, sluggish, slow, WWE 2k games and just make a remake of this game or take its intense elements. The sound of the strikes, the shaking of the camera, the intensity of the strikes ... Like how hard is it to implement such basic stuff into the new games rather than just pathetic texture improvement. It's just driving me nuts. I just don't get it.
