"The Bible" star Diogo Morgado, who plays Jesus in the History Channel series, opened up to "Extra's" Maria Menounos about his role, and an emotional upcoming episode.
he played his role wonderful. he was loving, attractive (I mean mostly the inner part but also his appearence) and charismatic. I think his eyes made a huge part.
Diogo fits the role of Jesus. I just wish we all would stop calling him "hot Jesus". I think it is not appropriate. But anyway, so glad it was Diogo. Yes he is gorgeous. But in the movie, you can sense the humility, kindness and power he portrays more than his beauty. I dunno how to state this but he did not communicate with us through his physical beauty but through his inner goodness.. or I think so... :)

Diogo did a wonderful job playing the part of Jesus christ. He was the perfect person for this role. He is a handsome man but it is much more than that, his humble approach and connection to the character is expressed clearly. I am admiring of him and his acting ability. I bought the movie because I loved it so much. The lessons in this movie will touch many people. In my opinion, this is another way to spread the message Jesus wanted all over the world. What a wonderful contribution Diogo has made with his acting skill. Keep touching the world with your gift.

I liked this movie even more than Passion, I mean liked is maybe not appropriate word, but this movie has left a great impression on me and brought me into tears. Mr Diogo fits perfectly into that role. Great job!
Jim Caviezel is a bit older but he's truly quite handsome without all that gruesome makeup 😂 He actually suffered a bit under the hands of Mel Gibson because of how tedious it was to get on and remove! Caviezel sometimes slept with some of it still on.
My friend worked in Portugal, and his feedback was, "all people in Portugal are good-looking people" which made me put this country on my bucket list. I like to see it for myself if its true..... Seeing Diogo Morgado is a crystal clear proof though :) Congratulations!!!

Pictures and photos of Jesus are either paintings or photos of characters who have played Jesus in various movies and one actor in particular looks very much like Jesus really does and he played Jesus in a recent movie and was interviewed in various places to discuss his role as Jesus and watching him people may think that Jesus is like this actor because he looks like him but I have discovered that Jesus' personality is much different than the one of this actor and though the actor is quite engaging it was suggested that I make note that when Jesus arrives he will be much different than the Jesus you have seen in recent years. Many people have come to Jesus as a result of his excellent portrayal in the movie but it is important to understand that liking someone on a movie screen is not the same as learning who Jesus really is and what he came to do and how he is saving the world.

Well, in the same way as the word English comes from England, so does Portuguese come from Portugal. Otherwise it would probably be called Brazilian. But hey, it's always good to learn knew things, I guess :). By the way, English, French and Portuguese are the only languages that are spoken in all five continents.
