Honestly, to me the taste wasnt that bad. Its just really difficult to get past what it is, and when they pop and fill your mouth with bug juice, its a constant reminder that this isnt steak. They eat these in so many parts of the world, and I do think if we were raised with the bias against it, it would taste edible. I wouldnt call it delicious like so people do, but its definetly hydrating and nutritious.. If given the choice between eating this, or a person, Id lean towards the worms.
