Coolguy there's a way to glitch you titan melee in the super that extends out of super. If you do light attack hold immediately into heavy slam you can not long use your light attack melee even when out of super
I've done it by accident multiple times due to trying to close gap and hit in air targets
There’s a “glitch” where the Titan melee can go through enemy and friendly ice walls with out shade ring them. Just not your own

How do you get some much air with nade jump? When do you hit the jump button, Right when throwing nade or after it has push you up in air?
Got the wings on for increased aerodynamics.
The animation for shiver strike is so cool, if you look closely, the titan spawns an ice crystal behind is heel to kick off of and boost forward.
I never noticed that, that just made it more badass
the crystal spawned at the titan's foot explodes, propelling the titan forward
For some tips in regards to making a build around it, the fragment is worth the 10 strength imo because in pvp you only need the grenade regen and the shatter radius one. Also, running heart with 8-9 resilience with 6+ discipline or strength will allow for almost constant uptime on abilities which is very cool
I am that guy who was "a little overwhelmed." I was finding the new Titan super harder to control and, as a consequence, less useful. Thanks for laying things out in clear, plain language. Great stuff, as always.

At first I thought the new titan super was ass. Then I learned how to move with it.... It's unstoppable! Hands down the strongest super in the whole game.
Lmao I had the opposite thought when I first got to use it in the campaign me and my friend were calling it Ice spectral blades
I’ve heard so many titans say the same thing but whine about hunter or warlock super (not saying you), only to find out how strong it is. Glad you’ve found out how to best use it!

Movement is good, but it’s so easy so shut down with a shotgun and simple jumping
Ya know what, it still sucks to use regaurdless of it’s utility xD it’s like trying to get super kills with top tree dawnblade, it just feels bad to try n get kills with it, but the tech is good for movement n stuff

Love the movement on behemoth. A final fantasy creature that's a tank and moves really quick. Bungie did a great job with it. Cant wait for more aspects
But Icarus dash is still much superior movement wise and basically is free on the subclass.....titan and hunter still cant compete against icarus dash

@@MrTimeattacker I agree, icarus dash is a little over tuned at the moment. (In my humble opinion.)
I haven’t had chance to unlock this fully yet, but even in the campaign I was trying to get used to it! It seems quite technical but great when mastered!
Two tips I’ve noticed from my play time with behemoth: Shiverstrike is not just horizontal movement you can control the vertical direction you go with it as well! Also, in your super after you’ve frozen someone remember you can use cryoclasm to shatter those enemies instead of shiverstrike as long as you have enough room to get into a slide; that way you save just a little bit of super energy by not pressing melee so you can roam around and get more kills
You could also just sprint through them if there isnt enough room to slide

The flying part is probably going to make more plays overall, but it's also worth noting that Cryoclasm has no cooldown while in super, so you can chain more than 2 slides if the situation calls for it.
Some folks have been making some great content with Beyond Light but I personally think Coolguy has been in a league above and has made some of the best content ive seen since I started watching him in Forsaken. Thank you for just being you
I love the movement speed of Behemoth, I cant go back to the other subclasses they just feel too slow. Also running both aspects that give +10s along with radiant light and powerful friends means I have a tier 40 build, with my lowest stat being a 5 in resilience and thats with a bad mask roll. Again going to the other sublasses and instantly losing 20 stat points feels like such a penalty along with no longer slide and no huge melee movement ability.
I recall when you first meet the Crux and get to try out this super for the first time, there was zero delay in mele cooldown. You could literally spam your mele during the super and fly across anything, just like top tree Dawnblade and the Icarus spam.
Then like 2 days later they fixed it and put a brief "Pause" between each mele. 😞
I did have lots of fun flying over that HUGE pit at Nexus in Europa. The one where you do the "Strange Noise" activity, where the strike starts. I was able to go all the way to the waterfall (where the strike leads to) and Titan fly all the way back to the entrance of Nexus, where the crux was for the first time you tried your super.
Wish they would have kept it like this.
I think it was bugging the mele tho. I recall my mele completely disappeared for a while a few times after doing this.

Titan stasis is the most OP super in the game, ever. It does have a slight skill curve, but I can't believe the nerfed warlock when this is in the game.

huge tip with cryoclasm. There is in fact a way to jump out of the slide and carry that momentum into a jump. just spam sprint while sliding then spam jump whenever the slide is about to end. if you are in a safe area where you cant shoot (like by variks) then when you do it correct, you will stand up mid slide.
1 more tip. In your super if you freeze someone just sprint through them to shatter them so you don’t waste super energy on a 2nd slam etc. The shatter from sprinting will most likely kill any others in the area too due to the fragment.
Hey, hey, remember when class descriptions mentioned things like "quick on their feet" and "mobility" for the Hunter?
Hunters have the same great mobility on every subclass, Titans and Warlocks have good mobility in only one, so the description still works.

The class is awesome but the super was a struggle so I kept off of it. Mad appreciate bro. I am giving this a try
Overall, I would say I am disappointed in the Titan Stasis, especially considering how much fluidity/integration to stasis the other two classes feel like they have with their class abilities. Barricade almost seemed overlooked. I love the knee slide to smash and move, but how cool would it be for barricade to freeze or slow enemies in a small force blast upon summon. Or perhaps, enemies freeze upon contact with the banner, creating a little ice block barrier with thrall running into it would be fun. Idk, just expected more out of the second aspect. I love the stasis sub-class and depth building, but feel a little short changed on the creativity end as a Titan main.
However, this video is clutch. I can't wait to try out some of these tips and see how much more joy it brings. Keep up the good work Cool Guy and have a great holiday season coming up!

Literally only use this subclass for its movement, titan skating with it is so fun
Just want to point out that the eclipsed zone gives faster stasis regen. It is a great place just to go practice your super. Like see how much AA the warlock super has or practicing this Titan flying. You have enemies and fast cool downs, great place to play around with it.
I liked Behemoth, but felt it was pretty mediocre. This video has me jump into the Elipsed zone for fast regen and practice a bit, now I really enjoy Stasis. Thank you!
Edit: this also fixed the issues I had with the standard melee, holding the button until the last second helps a ton with hit registration/aim assist.

Alright, some tips that I use. The shiver strike while in super should be your main and sometimes only way of attacking enemies.
The slam takes a massive chunk of super energy and doesnt kill anything not already frozen or directly underneath you. The slam is for freezing enemy supers. But the low cost of shiver strike in super lets me easily get 5+ kills a super while being able to traverse the map a little.
Also. Shiver strike is an aoe effect. It builds up slow, and CAN freeze nearby enemies. This is another reason to use it while in super, as killing two enemies in proximity to another will usually freeze them.
This super is near unbeatable currently, and most people dont even use it to maximum potential. Try the above tips and practice your aim with the shiver strike, the results will speak for themselves.
one thing people dont seem to know is that you can jump out of cryoclasm slide and maintain the momentum from the slide. pretty easy to do aswell

During the melee make sure you not only aim left and right but up and down aswell you can hit targets consistently if you do this
This is why I scratched my head when I seen titans say they got the worst out of the subclasses when they can now move around the map like they tapped into the speed force
Cuz it is the worse subclass lol. Hunters stasis is way more better. And still faster then stasis Titan.
If you make contact with the melee out of super you can tap the melee button again and you should be able to get a second punch off to KO

its a damn shame you can pretty much not do that anymore with how much it spends your super when you do that.

Another tip I would mention is after you slam and freeze someone, dont just stand there awkwardly, sprinting through frozen enemies or crystals breaks them not wasting any super energy or time.
Now we just need something like Skullfort for Stasis, so the regular melee attack isn't a complete waste in PvE.

Yup this it totally fine in crucible. Tanky, mobile, last long, hits up close and from far away, surprised it doesn't have healing built in. DFP said it invalidates other titan subclasses and now I believe him.

Tip: if you see another Behemoth spam the heavy attack until they have no shield then follow up with a light attack.

In pve the slam is only good for freezing. The super can a lot of damage if you jump then shiver strike repeatedly, but dont use the slam for damage.
The damage reduction during the super is ridiculous, considering how fast and agile it is.
It's to be expected tho. Bungie has no idea how to balance Crucible.

You also have unlimited enhanced slides to move around pretty fast and not waste super energy.
Ugh, slide and the melee still feel terrible to me, maybe I've spent too many years in top tree arc (which still has hit reg issues, but at least I'm accustomed to them)

The damage reduction on this super needs to be toned down. It’s already got fantastic tools which I feel are balanced by themselves, but add in the fact that it can tank so much damage, and it really feels OP.

Lol you 2 are fools. Stasis Titan is the worse of all characters. Its just good. Hunters and warlocks are infact broken with stasis. And btw damage resistance is prety low on behemoth. Nothing on a Titan need to tone down. Infact some stuff must be get buffed Like the melee. And the super itself.

Using Cryoclasm in super is stupidly annoying. I've been killed so many times by Behemoths that just smack me with their ice hand and slide out like I'm kicking an ice cube under the fridge.

You can also hit people with ACD/0 Feedback Fence. Very annoying
Unless they increase the travel on the charged melee, they're not the best option for this subclass. HoiL is the best
Neutral game. You can slide then punch to close an insannnnnee gap.
@@alecluce at that point you're probably close enough to where synthos wouldn't even be of benefit. Punching someone twice doesn't really help the neutral game.

The super is p bad, just that delay between abilities in supers is why a lot of people hate it, that said, coolguy dropping that info abt the flying that me and my friend discovered in testing if it would be worth using in crucible or not, we determined it’s just the titan top tree dawnblade, but super is meh but everything else is good, super is good for out of mapping xD
