Almost always when I see doctors,I go before the scheduled appointment times.I show up 15-20 minutes early and they will take me back within 2-3 minutes of my early arrival. I will usually be done seeing the doctors and out of the office by the actual time of my scheduled appointment.
As a health care professional I have worked in about 6 different doctors offices and dealt with quite a few rude, combative, aggressive and abusive patients. Unfortunately a good majority of the time the doctor in charge of their care often made excuses for the patient and put the patients demands before the safety of staff. So I commend this doctor for backing up his staff and not allowing this patient to treat the staff in such a demeaning and aggressive manner. And wow, I am also very impressed with the patience of all police involved but the one officer definitely deserves an A+
I completely agree. Everyone, the office staff, the doctor, and all the officers and EMTs were calm, respectful, and firm. Really can’t ask for higher caliber professional behavior than that! This man was fortunate in the people he encountered this day; he could have received much worse treatment.
Health care pro? You are kidding right? The nurses and receptionists cause ALL these issues... They upset patients and think they know it all, THIS IS THE PROBLEM, getting past the shite to get to the quack! KNOW THAT sweetheart!
Law enforcement deal with the same things. Often times older folks have dementia, or psychological issues or disorders. My Dad had psychological problems. Schizophrenia to be exact. He challenged police and was tased. As law enforcement, I understand why they tased him. My Dad would become very combative and argumentative.

I really like the aggressively calm officer’s strategy. Wrong. He needs a dit/fferent job than being a cop who is supposed to remove mental patients like this guy. He isn't hired to play this game.
That officer has incredible patience and the proper approach towards someone with mental health issues. Kudos!

They treated him with way more respect than he deserved. What a piece of work.

Things are absolutely clear, he's acting like a rude fool and is definitely wrong here. So why would you discuss everything with him over and over again?
In the end they just wasted time that could be used for other, way more serious and important calls. And what was the result? He still ended up on the ground handcuffed and even kicked the medical personel. So where's your point?
@@misseclipse7415 Who are you calling a "kiddo"? I'm a grown man of 45 years of age. So you can take your "kiddo" and stick it where the sun doesn't shine...
Apart from that, you really think the cops wouldn't have anything better to do than that ridiculous bullshit of an entitled old man? Guess what, even dumb idiots grow old. So he's got two options basically: he can either decide to act like an adult and follow lawful commands or continue to cause trouble and act like a stubborn child and get his ass dragged outta there. I used to work in a hospital blood bank at a level 1 trauma center. I was always asked to hold onto the trauma phone in the blood bank when a trauma showed up because I spoke in a really calm manner to the residents on the phone.
