Even factoring in all the accolades he's received over the years, I still consider Glen Campbell to be so very underrated. A prolific entertainer; an incomparable singer with perfect diction, timing, pitch, and with a natural smoothness to his voice. One of the best guitar players there ever has been. A writer, an actor, a comedian, a host. He acted with John Wayne in True Grit, as well as sang the theme song. His talent was tremendous, a gift from God. I will miss him so much--

+85nikki96 I agree with you. Even I think of him as an unbelievable singer when clearly he is also an unbelievable guitarist. Maybe because he was so humble and unassuming is why he didn't get more recognition than he did. I think he was just having fun and not necessarily consumed with having all the attention that the stars of today crave.

How great to make music with a loved one. My dad and I used to sing together. Sometimes I'd play the violin and he'd sing. I miss those days.

As a father and a musician who was blessed to have my son grow up to be an incomparable musician who eventually took his place in my band, on tour and in the studio, I can relate to this family. I am a life long Glenn Campbell fan...this brings tears of love and joy to my heart and eyes.
