CJ Rayburn was the mastermind behind a lot of these hi-tech chassis innovations.

What Steve humbly left out is that by the age of 14 or so he was Canadas best modified wheelman. That dude can setup a dirt car for sure.

Ben, Well done, this is by far one of the best Dirt motorsports videos I ever watched. What a true testament to who Steve Arpin really is. I learned some new stuff myself I never knew before. Hè's a definite gem to this sport but rest assured Ben in your area of what you do as well you're not too far behind yourself. You're valued in this sport as well. Without ya I don't think a late model race would be complete. BTW I Call BS on not getting a Milkshake at Port from Lauver's Concession hahaha I think Essex and one of the others tag teamed yours and had two of em, saying ya snooze ya lose LOL

Kinda neat to see a Canadian behind such a winning brand in Dirt racing. Like late models aren’t super popular here nearly like down in middle America.

I have to say north Carolina has the absolute best craftsman in the world. You want a race car doesn't matter what class division or type you will have to search far and wide for that kind of quality then you have the very best most luxurious custom sport fishing boats in the world. Only built with one inlet in mind and that's Oregon inlet.

The race team that the manufacturer runs. So instead of a private 3rd party having a race team. The company (Longhorn in this case) runs a team out of their own building. Thinks first party vs third party.

Typically a house car is used as R&D for the manufacturer. The Longhorn "house car" is a bit different, and its not owned by Longhorn, its owned by Don and Gina Bradsher. They operate out of the Longhorn shop and gets a ton of support from Longhorn, and ultimately Kevin Rumley since he's a special consultant for Longhorn

It takes money to build a quality product and to have the technology to keep these cars up front. That’s why you don’t see many home made chassis in these super late model series. Theres no comparison to how say a longhorn performs, vs say a Stinger or a Dixie metal works chassis.
