He's tried that Starmer was investigated line a few times now. Starmer was investigated after 2 weeks of sustained media pressure and exonerated.
Sunak and Johnson were both fined for actual breaches while presiding over a culture of rule-breaking

A Home Secretary, of all people, should know that if someone is investigated and found NOT GUILTY of any wrongdoing, then that means they're innocent and that you leave the non-issue alone! Desperate rubbish from a desperate man who will soon be out of a job.

The UK is ranked 20th for asylum seekers per capita compared to the rest of the EU, yet the Tories (and Reform) make out the country is being invaded, that we're overrun and is struggling to cope. I think that tells you everything you need to know about the broken state of our social infrastructures after 14 years of Tory neglect
The Tories work by creating fear in their voter base and asylum seekers are an easy scapegoat. They have manufactured the asylum crisis to fuel fear. They don't want to tackle the causes of the problem, like targeting the people traffickers, they want to let it fester so they can come up with headline grabbing polices to "fix" it. In typical Tory fashion they have used these vulnerable people as a means to an end. They are no better than the people traffickers they fail to take action against.
Unfortunately all they have done is pushed the hard right of their voters to Reform and brought shame onto our nation.
