Great match... The movement and dynamism of the players and seems to have gone up a level through this tournament! Been really impressed with Clyne, Coll, Castagnet and Farag.
Really good hustle from Castagnet here. Farag is clearly another Egyptian talent who is extremely dangerous for all of the top seeds and I'm glad to see Castagnet show his quality, mental strength and overall fitness to make that comeback and hold on to his seeding
Farag is a great player, great mover and so clever moreover it,s clear that he loves squash and enjoy it, one of my favourite players. On the other side if he shows that he can be beaten phisically, like in the World Open agains Gaultier or here all the players that don´t have the skills to beat him are going made the match as long and hard as they can in order to try to beat him phisically since round one long matches are coming from Farag.....
Farag let his ego get the better of him! Would've loved to see him win. Hope farag learns from this experience that its not over till the match is done. Don't start believing you have won until you actually have. I feel it was cocky of him when after the two crosscourt nicks he hit, he looked back at his team smiling looking for appreciation i guess. Anyway Castagnet showed grit, dedication and persistence! I'm impressed!
Farah is in the sweet spot at the moment, riding high on junior outcomes and now closing in on the top 10 BUT without the stress of expectations yet. He went into this not expecting to win hence was calm and playing free flowing squash and clearly enjoying his squash UNTIL he realised he might actually have a chance of winning then the psyche of both players changed. Don't mistake enjoyment of squash to be arrogance, Farag isn't like gaultier or shorbagy. I see Farag to be very similar in attitude and sportsmanship to ashour and that's a great thing for the game.
Some very entertaining squash by both. Felt like Farag might have gotten a lot though when he had match ball because Castagnet stepped directly into his line to the ball. Poor Farag must have been feeling really upset that he lost having led 2-0. I wonder if he began to relax too much thinking he'd won the match already.

Faraq is an awesome character, and I'm sure he'll be in the top 5 in a couple of years, but Castagnet is just a beast and deserved the win.
He is current World champion and current world n°1 so you had right ;)

wow what a reversal
wow! the games in this competition is really great!! but still , really bad draw ... they should have played in the quarters or semis
+Zijian Ng I have exactly same feelings...Quaters and semis wont be as exciting bcoz of poor draws
vishal arora exactly , plus its not really fair because some players deserves to be a higher rank
OMG
LE GRIT
farag can win this game, but he's underestimate castagnet esp in third game. shame on you. deserve what you gave f.
