    stage production guy here, if you put a big fan in front of the 1dx or a fog machine shooting up you will get a better haze effect with either

      Nice. Good call!

      Can confirm. Worked on the production of a TV show and we shot in a dense jungle. They used what we call the “Fog of Death” which was a haze machine blowing into a big fan, which output into an extremely long tubing with slits cut in it that spread the haze around a specific area. Looked amazing.

    For some reason, TH-camrs who make videos about haze, refuse to divulge which hazer they use. They won't add it to descriptions, they won't add it in titles, and they'll reply to everything except questions about the specific hazer or a shopping link. Thanks for not being one of them. Liked and Subbed.

      @@the-creative-block Trust me, hazer tutorials never show it, and hazer reviews are low in availability. Thanks for helping us aspiring filmmakers out.
      Just ordered the 1DX last night. Unfortunately, it arrives on shoot day. It's there anything that will slow us down after unboxing it?

      honestly the Haze industry has not improved in over a decade. They really need a revamp

    was considering purchasing this unit or the Chauvet Hurricane Haze 4D. Would u have some feedback on that particular unit over the Hurricane 1DX u reviewed? Both seem like solid options for non commercial use and I wouldn't mind paying slightly more if the build quality or features were worth the cost. However, as well all know, sometimes the upgrade isn't worth the cost..

    Just curious, how is your hazer holding up so far? Still working well? I'm considering getting one of these

    I recognize the effect, but didn't know how to achieve it. Cool. It looks badass! Nice work.

    won't the moisture water damage your equipment and walls?

    given ur reasoning 5:10 I was thinking of getting a fog machine and blasing that output with a fan to disperse it and use it as haze. You think thatll work for a cheaper haze?

    Hoe does it perform with silence inbetween takes? And waiting times /heat up intervals when re hazing for the next take?

    Nerd here. The 1DX isn't actually a hazer. It's a fazer. Fazers are basically super cheap hazers. True hazers cost thousands.

      whats the difference?

    • @rennoruutli5267
      @rennoruutli5267 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@OhhSlash A hazer typically uses oil-based lquid that sprays it into REALLY REALLY small particles.. Whereas a fazer is basically a high-quality fog machine with a fan trying to mimic a hazer for cheaper..

      @@rennoruutli5267 Great to know. Thanks for the info. Sounds like a fazer would actually work better for my preferences.

      @@rennoruutli5267 I actually ended up ordering the fazer in this video haha. I'm on a budget and will be using it for at home laser shows in a small room. I think this will suffice for my needs. I also like that its water based so I dont end up with oil build up on my walls.
