I feel like most older games Like MM2 are still popular bc they were so straight forward and simple to play, And the Devs updated it so it doesent look as old and still gives updates. Thats prob how the old games arent dead.
I play Murder Mystery 2 because it is a game I have been playing for YEARS. It has not had any major overhauls that make it feel like a brand-new game, which I appreciate. It feels like the same game I played years ago. Although every round is basically the same thing over and over again, the people you play with allow there to be enough variation for it to still feel fun. Everyone has a different playstyle, and the addition of voice chat only makes interacting with those people even better. Oh, and trading is also pretty big, so there's that.
I still play MM2 because I just like the simple concept and it's not overly complicated. The UIs not all in your face and overall its just very fun to find out the murder. And I just love murder mystery games like many others.

I quit playing MM2 for multiple reasons: 1) no new content other than knives which are really just cosmetics and are entirely useless since they also get mass duped 2) bogus physics 3) the amount of coins u can earn per round is just too small compared to how much knife boxes actually cost 4) exploiters and teamers just ruin the whole 'mystery' idea for this game, it just becomes Murder or get murdered
The reason MeepCity died was because parties were removed in February of last year, because Roblox threatened to take it down because of all the NSFW, especially at parties. Parties were the main reason most slenders & cnps played MeepCity, so when they were removed, most of them quit.

Mm2 is one of those games that has kept all its classics and instead of removing them to make more stuff they Kept the classics and added some stuff that improves it and truly does

Does everyone forgets about flee the facility or it's just a game that not many people play in, because I've seen barely any popular youtubers playing it which is pretty sad. The concept is also very simple and there wasn't many confusing buttons too so I dont know why is it not in this list
