Seems decent but I think I'll be sticking with OneUp as they seem to be the gold standard for this type of head tube tool. I love pretty much all OneUp components...seems like better quality at reasonable prices.
Awesome info! I love that multi tool system specifically bc it allows you to mount your bike computer on top. I happen to use my phone (SP CONNECT Micro Stem Mount SPC+) Does anyone know if that clip in parentheses could work with this!? 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽 If so my dilemma would be solved! TY!
I bought one of the Granite tools a while back, and I was really happy with it until It broke on me. Removing my rear through axle, it sheared the entire bit off from the main body of the tool. I got a replacement one from my LBS, and since then I've only used it a handful of times. Whatever steel they used isn't corrosion resistant at all, because it was in a horrific state. Im very nice to my bike. It gets well maintained. That tool got so unbelievably thrashed, when I have only used it less than 5 times since purchasing. I'll be replacing mine with a OneUp version, and either threading my steerer, or getting their Threadless carrier.
Great review. I was looking at that system as well. Does the airtag holder reduce detection range? The part you held looks metal and have seen that some holders dramatically impact reception.
The part that goes up in the bike is metal the cap is plastic. I was able to walk around my house and still see the signal. But it might impact it just a little.
Looks like a nice tool but I prefer the OneUp EDC. Because of the Arthritis in my hands, I have trouble with removable bits out on the trail. If you drop one in tall grass they are very hard to find.
@RunBikeMike I thought is like a rack for luggage but you flip it around to have space to work . Any recommendations for an affordable front rack.Thanks.
I’ve been holding off getting a head tube tool because I didn’t want to modify anything. This seems to be the one. Thanks for posting this.
I was in the same boat. Turns out it is very easy to install. It is so nice always having a tool on your bike.

Ok? Nokia was gold standard when mobile phones got released to the general users. I assume you running around with a Nokia aswell.
@B12-jr5yp this is one of the dumbest comments I've seen in a while.
What a great lil set up! Gotta get one of those!

Interesting. I will keep an eye on mine to see how it handles long term.

Will u cut down your steer tube?
Imo sticks too much, but otherwise, great products
Probably not

Great point. That would make it difficult. I would like to review the OneUp EDC.
What is that blue piece of bar that is on handlebar and goes on frame?
It is this parktools bar holder. amzn.to/3KpRDtM
