Not a bad tool at all, would make a nice gift too.

Not only an introduction to multitools. I think it's also for everybody who likes the classic layout. I for instance have the Rebar ST300 also and like them all. For home and office I really don't mind losing the serrated blade and saw. In the past I have used the PST2 and Pulse for years and when you handle them wisely then it does not matter that it does not have replacable cutters. But one thing I really would like Leatherman do here is add the clip standard for a total of around 65 bucks and you have a unique seller!

I seen some rust on the phillips driver. I spray my tools with Garage door silicon spray everytime they get wet or maybe once a year so they won't rust. When the spray dries, it leaves a protective layer. It comes in different name brands but I get a tan can from Home Depot, but I have bought different brands from auto stores like Autozone, Advanced, or O'Reilly. I think even Wal-Mart might have some kind of silicon spray. I would sand or file off the rust, clean the tool a little and then spray it, but even spraying it would help alot.

Thanks for the info. I use clp clenzoil. This is my brother's tool. He uses it daily.

@TheFossilChannel I use mine daily as well. I just thought I'd share what helps for me. It definitely helps keep the tool working. I have a Knifeless Rebar and I am thinking about getting a Bond for the clip. Thanks for the video. 😀

Another point is that apart from the Knifeless Rebar and the Gerber MP600 bladeless, this is the only full size multitool in production now which I can carry here in the UK, where we're not allowed to carry locking or fixed blades ''without valid reason''. Fitted mine with a pocket clip. The only issue I have with it is that it rusts easily and I have to continuously spray it with WD40 and clean out bits of rust. The price here is not bad too, £50 or $62 if you shop around, considering that the going price for the Squirt PS4 until recently (it's no longer available) was £45 and the Rev costs £50.

Would be perfect for me here in the uk if it had replaceable hard wire cutters. I’d pay a bit more for a version with that.

I’d be careful with that claim that it’s legal to carry in Europe. In the uk at least, it is indeed marketed as uk legal, but it’s not yet been tested in court. The fact that the closed handles stop the blade from fully closing might well render it foul of the law. If they had put the blade on the outside it would have been ok. One day it’ll probably be tested in court, then we’ll know for sure, I won’t be running the risk though.
