The bear story. Humans can take down a bear with guns and knives. Although, it depends on the circumstances, but, for an advanced alien species, it took a mother bear to whoop that booty... no way. That bear would've mostly likely ran away from the fight once it was wounded very badly. And plus, the Predators know how to fight against Xenomorphs. A bear would've been easily decimated by a Predator....But, I will read the comic because it still looks like a cool story.
I want a predator movie with a young blood as the protagonist rising up the ranks The movie should include bad bloods as the villains and xenos as prey Also it would be a great game with open worlds
It seems like I’m boasting about us, but it’s because humans to them are worthy and we adapt very quickly just like them. Yutcha adapts with tech against other species and how to hunt them with new tactics. Humans are able to think quick, change tactics, and adapt to the situation very quickly. We are able to use our surroundings as a weapon. As an example: Dutch use the trees, mud, what ammo he had left, sharp sticks(yes he fucking did), and a fat ass log. That’s why most of the time we win. We are able to adapt as fast or faster than they do without the code of honor. We are also the only species to ever fight along side and granted a mark. That is also another reason why we are able to defeat them as well.
Humans have incredibly low esteem and need lies to make themselves feel better. I mean we even have stories of demi gods beating God's, because the human part made them stronger.... 🙄
I totally agree with you xeno dragon77. I'm tired of watching, reading stuff where a lesser being, normally humans, always winning just because because there's so many low self-esteemed jerkoffs writing this stuff. 9 out of 10 times humans would lose to things like a Xenomorph or Predator.
There's definitely a spectrum in terms of skill and intelligence amongst the yautija. Wolf was able to fight hoards of xenomorph and deal with humans at the same time where as some yautija(like the ones on this vid) die do a band of humans. And those humans weren't pro killers either.
The way the great predator died was stupid in this film. He was far more stronger than humans. Honestly It would have been more good if the predator had won.
Worst Predators list: • That alien who sank and turned into Gumbo • That one Predator who can't even kill a fricken Bear • Chopper didn't look at his surroundings • That Dumbass Predator vs Archie • Nemesis Predator couldn't even kill a guy with old tech.... • Tusk killed like a Punk • Assassin Predator (Yes he's badass and a giant but hear me out) killed by a skinny guy with autistic kid and killed by small tiny bullets hell City Hunter was shot by shotgun shells and he took it like a champ.
Strange Roux is one of my favorite predator stories. I love 'brains winning over brawn' stories. Honestly, a lot of human hunters end up getting killed because they get careless and since predators go after the most dangerous game, its not terribly surprising many die. That and being the story's antagonist kinda seals their fate. BTW deer kill more people in my province than any other animal so yah, never underestimate the wildlife.
Predator started dying more and more easily after the first movie, dying to an old man, being beheaded by a human bart, a Predator much bigger than an ordinary Predator brutally killed by people who are not even soldiers, EVEN BEING BEHEADED BY A LITTLE GIRL. Remember when these were the best hunters in the galaxy? How much that Predator easily dies, the movie gets worse. i think it takes an army of at least 50 veteran soldiers to kill a predator.
In the predator (2018) the way fugitive was died by the hands of ultimate predator is just so disappointing. Like I want to see a longer fight in which predator also inflicts some serious damage on the ultimate predator and die honorably.
I think wolfs death was cheap in my eyes the fight should have been over when he ripped his inner mouth out and slammed his wrist blade right into his head! It would of been nice to see him in other movies !
We still might as the avp movies arnt canon to the aliens and predator solo movie verse So we could still see the predators from all the avp movies in a avp reboot that actually takes place in the right time setting
It's absolutely ridiculous how fragile and incompetent the predators are made despite apparently being the ultimate hunters. Terrible writing making a joke of the franchise quite honestly. Shame.
@Miranda TheGerm It also just shows how brutal their culture is, these aliens are warriors their entire lives, it's not hard to believe they don't typically live long lives.
It feels kind of... Wrong that a Blooded Yautja would lose to a Bear or African Wildlife. I mean. They only obtain a Plasma Caster after killing a Xenomorph. You can't expect me to believe that any earth animal is as dangerous as a Xenomorph.
Predators hunted bigger and more dangerous things on other planets. You would think after killing a T-rex on another planet, a normal bear from Earth is nothing, right? Even animals have plot armor.
I think the reason why predators lose is poor writing and a lack of respect for the character. I hate crossover comics that just use the predators only to make superheroes or human protagonist look good. They forgot how dangerous and elusive a predator really could be.
It's starting to piss me off. They make predators lose and die in the dumbest ways. The stories you mentioned in the video are extremely stupid, but I have to admit that what disappointed me most recently was the Fugitive's death. I just thought he was very cool and proved to be a skilled warrior, yet they still had him die like a pussy. I would love to see a movie focusing only on the Upgrade - Fugitive chase actually, showing more of the Fugitive's "sins" which led to him being considered a traitor and hunted.
Cracked Tusk wasn't really killed on a hunt though, it was more just a general combat situation. He also had a good run leading up to his death. All the other Predators on this list did get killed off in pretty stupid ways (that Louisiana story..god thats dumb)
Not to mention the M41A Pulse Rifles the Colonial Marines uses have explosive tipped rounds. Colonial Marines are also known to use armor piercing rounds.
I feel like wolf should of won his confrontation with the predalien he battles basically a hive and a predalien and showed more skill and I was disappointed he lost
what kind of makes sense because usually in those scenarios where you're playing as a main character the reason why you win is because you're exceptional I mean an AVP an example you seem to use all the other Marines have died or most at least but yet the private somehow fought his way through an entire jungle/facility of xenomorphs and predators Androids.
The video should’ve been titled “worst predator comics” tbh, you literally listed stories from the predator mythos that were extremely lacking imo. Side note: Aside from hollywood taking the easy route. The reason predator’s lose in most of their tales is because of their own hubris, they make arrogant or downright sloppy mistakes that gives their prey an advantage during the hunt. Also doesn’t help that they also kill themselves whenever they are non-lethally defeated in combat akin to Japanese warriors.
I know this is technically not a defeat but it sure as hell felt like one, the fight I'm referring to is the fight between Ahab and the engineer, I felt this fight was bit unrealistic to how it would actually go down, however after doing my own analysis of the fight I would if Ahab had not been distracted by galgo (when he ran from the fight) that whole fight would have gone a different route I mean Ahab most likely would have been able to dodge anything the engineer threw at him if he not been distracted by galgo and if you don't believe look at how acrobatic and how agile predators have shown in the past.
I had an AVP comic back in the day. A predator betrayed his own kind and left one of his brothers on an X Zeno morph world. So when the others found out they left him stripped him of his armor to die. The comic ended with them flying away into outer space showing him on a small island surrounded by thousands of aliens with no armor
AVP: Blood Time. The pred that had been injured and betrayed (Light Stepper) survived and appeared in other comics, having risen through the ranks after many successful hunts.
I can't remember his name but the one that was the last of his clan and was stuck on Xenomorph Prim for a long time then gets picked up by another clan where they land on some backwater planet and is killed by a handful of grunts. That is the must bs death. Survives on the Xenomorph home world for years then is killed by a handful of grunts. They act like humans are better hunters then two species the are breed for hunting and are 100's of times better at hunting then humans.
Well, I always suspected that the Younger (male?) Predators have an extremely High Mortality Rate. As their Rituals and Scarifications consistent with termination
It's the tired trope of 'humans overcoming overwhelming odds'. They won't show a Predator winning against a human in any movie because mainstream audiences would probably be upset. If we had a mini series of some sort, then maybe. They always seem to depict the Predator as villainous in the movies as well, even though we know it has a code of honor and rules of a hunt. Of course that doesn't translate well, I mean no one wants to be 'hunted'.
The Predators in the Prequel comic to the movie Predators killed that guy that was found dead by Royce and his cohorts. So that counts as a win to a Predator(even though it's not an honor bound win).
The Predators have a very high risk hobby, they’re very good don’t get wrong but… “There are only so many times you can win a game of chess.” -Ash from “Alien out of the shadows”

Wolf's loss from AvP:R, it was disappointing and felt stupid and anticlimactic in my opinion

True! Stop killing off the predator!
The Predator death that I disliked the most was Wolf's loss from AvP:R, it was disappointing and felt stupid and anticlimactic in my opinion
It made his whole part in the film pointless just to be killed of in such a cheap shitty way.
Rtas Vadumee youd think that a seasoned hunter such as wolf would not have cave in to his desire for an honorable fight :/
It felt like a pretty cheap ending. If there was a fight it should've had a satisfying conclusion.
True
Thank you.
I want a predator movie with a young blood as the protagonist rising up the ranks

For being the greatest hunters in the universe, Predators sure do lose alot. Particularly to a plucky bands of human survivors.
Its the honor code that holds them back I know I'm late
they are like klingons......the honorable warrior race that gets always its ass kicked. Its so stupid.
It’s because if you feel like something can best you will grow to dislike it
