My older brother and WNEW FM radio in NYC introduced me to both bands, couldn’t agree more. Used to go to Greenwich Village to buy BJH import albums, hard to find their albums in the states

I remember when we first discovered this band via Live Tapes back in 1979 during the height of the Lebanese Civil War & we would turn down the lights ( when we had electricity that is ) and listen to this album over n over again....& this song would give us goosebumps whilst the distant sound of bombs would be heard as we lay there with our imaginations running wild... Thank you John, Les , Mel & Woolly... LIVE ON!

Yes , it certainly brings a tear to my eyes. I first saw BJH was in 1976 at Newcastle city hall . I never saw them again until 2018 at the Sage Gateshead and still awesome.
Its my lovely bands for the pass...John Lees is excellent vocals and guitar players...that song for me is the No1 forever and ever... and this version is amazing!

Yes! Strawbs also rocked. Both of these bands deserved a better fate. They never sold out, but their fans are loyal forever.

I saw them in Liverpool too. Empire Theatre for Turn Of The Tide in 1981. Still got the programme.

It's one of those times where the live version is so much better than the studio one. Timeless and immortal melody.

BJH was the first band i'd seen live...in 1978. It was so an amazing concert...i went 2 month later to the extra concert....:D
