The Karmin QVEEN HERBY rebrand was EVERYTHING!!! Karmin was unfortunately too candy sweet and the QVEEN persona opened up what she actually wanted to say after their pulses era I really enjoyed how they did Leo rising because it was done gorgeously. I’m proud that Amy is being more authentic to herself.
A German artist called Sasha wanted to make some rockabilly songs in English when he felt uninspired in his current genre so he created his alter ego Dick Brave and toured the US as well as many other countries. When he was done with his English project, he staged his own death, then returned to Germany as Sasha. That story still is so wild to me.
This may sound random but the Chilean TV station Via-X used to play his song “I Feel Lonely” a lot back in 2001. His music is practically unknown here, but that’s how people got to know about him back in the day.

Amy Noonan (Qveen Herby) successfully rebranded from a meme/borderline joke rapper to an elevated, serious artist. Her music isn’t so much my thing but I have respect for how she played her career. I don’t think many people can accomplish that.
I actually discovered Qveen Herby from her first EP on my TH-cam recommended. Busta Rhymes made me fall in love with her rapping, and I actually recommended her music to the majority of my friends in real life. They were very shocked once they heard her rap and they fall in love with her too. I wasn't aware she was under a different act with her husband Karmin. I only found out when she came onto Honest the TH-cam channel and she introduced herself there and that's when I knew this isn't her first time in the music industry :D

Thank you for covering Natalia! I really loved her music when I was younger and I occasionally return to her songs even now (Saturday night, Wonderland, and Love is a suicide are amazing). I have been watching all the drama unfolding and back then I thought that she was the worst person on Earth because I was a stupid child. Now I think that if we have literal a-pists being protected in the industry and seing how such people as, for example, Nicki, behave on the ragular basis, I think that Natalia loosing her career over such a minute thing while being a much better person than a huge chunk of other celebrities who kept their careers is disgusting. Also, other people who have reported on her or about the scandals in previous years have gotten so many comments saying that she absolutely deserves it and there should be no sympathy towards her at all, because she is apparently the worst, and attacking those who disagreed. I'm glad she's finally getting the recognition she deserves as an ARTIST and not just a writer!!

i remember back in 2017 when i was searching for karmin and found queen herby and i was obsessed! Her eps were so good, especially her early ones and i feel they really showed how talented she was. However, while i liked her debut, i worry about the tik tok-ification of her music. By that i mean a lot of her newer songs have lyrics that just feel like they were meant to be used as a trend. Its obvious in her song rabbit hole (which did end up being used as a trend lol) I think her earlier work as qveen had a bit more seriousness and edge that i miss. I like her sound and I’m not too surprised she wrote that Blackpink song, since it has the very similar sound to her own work. I’m surprised that Trouble hasn’t blown up on Tiktok, since it has very blunt and outrageous songs (like on WAP level of outrageous). Like I could see Rabbit Hole becoming a big meme or even my favorite song by her, Boys Don’t Cry for a make/fashion challenge; it has that Effy Stonem vibe and I feel it could make people do a challenge dressing up like that.

I remember wondering where she is now randomly a while back, and then several months later I see the artist Muni Long had been getting a lot of attention. I was curious about her ethnic background because her look seemed interesting to me, and the way my jaw dropped when I saw her government name was Priscilla Renea on her wiki page. She looks very different, but I’m glad her career is finally picking up because I was truly rooting for her back in 2011.
X-Factor loved talking career ruining risks. They needed a “Simon Cowell” type persona and set the performance up to make the duo lash out like Simon. Every X-Factor nation needs a Simon-type, and they just made her the person to do it. The comments were likely scripted, or they told her to be rude asf, but the general public was not vibing with it like they did with Simon. I wouldn’t be surprised if they both signed a contract and were issued a gag order and were unable to speak about what really happened. Just look what they did to the “Pink” impersonating contestant, making her look like a villain when she was actually having a mental breakdown. They even showed Natalia and Willy being friendly with Joe after the show on social media, but all evidence was deleted once the narrative was set. They were used and thrown out when they realized there was no saving them, and their careers crumbled with it.
Qveen was the right move for her. I like her style and music sometimes, a little bragadocious for me sometimes (she is not the best, I wish people would stop doing this is their music) but sometimes it’s uplifting. Her writing is uniquely hers, sometimes it’s mediocre but sometimes she has amazing little gems that are genius. Good for her though! She’s personally not my thing but she’s doing her thing and that’s really awesome!

Amy Noonan (Qveen Herby) successfully rebranded from a meme/borderline joke rapper to an elevated, serious artist. Her music isn’t so much my thing but I have respect for how she played her career. I don’t think many people can accomplish that.
I actually discovered Qveen Herby from her first EP on my TH-cam recommended. Busta Rhymes made me fall in love with her rapping, and I actually recommended her music to the majority of my friends in real life. They were very shocked once they heard her rap and they fall in love with her too. I wasn't aware she was under a different act with her husband Karmin. I only found out when she came onto Honest the TH-cam channel and she introduced herself there and that's when I knew this isn't her first time in the music industry :D
Her husband is still apart of QVEEN he produces her beats.

I really loved her music when I was younger and I occasionally return to her songs even now (Saturday night, Wonderland, and Love is a suicide are amazing). I have been watching all the drama unfolding and back then I thought that she was the worst person on Earth because I was a stupid child. Now I think that if we have literal a-pists being protected in the industry and seing how such people as, for example, Nicki, behave on the ragular basis, I think that Natalia loosing her career over such a minute thing while being a much better person than a huge chunk of other celebrities who kept their careers is disgusting.
Also, other people who have reported on her or about the scandals in previous years have gotten so many comments saying that she absolutely deserves it and there should be no sympathy towards her at all, because she is apparently the worst, and attacking those who disagreed. I really hope such "artists" as 69 and Travis get the same treatment as her, they are the ones who really deserve it, not a random upcoming girl whose biggest crime was being a pathetic ass-hole on television.

I was following Pricilla Renea back in her youtube days. I was still in grade school then and I absolutely loved her debut album. She's the reason I started spelling my name as "Renea" instead of "Renee" on my social media back in the day 🤣. I had no idea Hrs & Hrs was her song or that she had rebranded. I'm glad she's finally getting the recognition she deserves as an ARTIST and not just a writer!!

She probably felt this was the only thing she could to do her own. I don't think she expected that many people to hate her and believe the stunt that was pulled on the show. She just wanted that mainstream image gone, but ended up dragging her entire reputation down with it.

I miss natalia kills.. the fact that she still received hate comments on her profiles baffles me. We've had men in the industry abusing women and they somehow get a pass. A third album with the kills persona would be amazing I felt that with trouble she was just getting started and finding the lane. I don't understand all the comparisons though because when I listen to natalia I don't hear anyone else.

i remember back in 2017 when i was searching for karmin and found queen herby and i was obsessed! Her eps were so good, especially her early ones and i feel they really showed how talented she was. However, while i liked her debut, i worry about the tik tok-ification of her music. By that i mean a lot of her newer songs have lyrics that just feel like they were meant to be used as a trend. Its obvious in her song rabbit hole (which did end up being used as a trend lol) I think her earlier work as qveen had a bit more seriousness and edge that i miss. Still rooting for her success and look forward to what she is gonna bring in the future.

I really liked Natalia Kills..The x-factor controversy was really unfortunate. I thought she was a cool and creative artist despite what critics said. Wonderland, Nothinglastforever, kill my boyfriend, Zombie, all were my favs.

I get why Natalia rebranded, but honestly I think she just changed her name. The music is still very similar. I like her sound and I’m not too surprised she wrote that Blackpink song, since it has the very similar sound to her own work. I’m surprised that Trouble hasn’t blown up on Tiktok, since it has very blunt and outrageous songs (like on WAP level of outrageous). Like I could see Rabbit Hole becoming a big meme or even my favorite song by her, Boys Don’t Cry for a make/fashion challenge; it has that Effy Stonem vibe and I feel it could make people do a challenge dressing up like that.
That is a great idea but unfortunately that Xfactor moment had stained her career to a point where people still think it was real when it was scripted.

X-Factor loved talking career ruining risks. They needed a “Simon Cowell” type persona and set the performance up to make the duo lash out like Simon. Every X-Factor nation needs a Simon-type, and they just made her the person to do it. The comments were likely scripted, or they told her to be rude asf, but the general public was not vibing with it like they did with Simon. I wouldn’t be surprised if they both signed a contract and were issued a gag order and were unable to speak about what really happened. Just look what they did to the “Pink” impersonating contestant, making her look like a villain when she was actually having a mental breakdown. They even showed Natalia and Willy being friendly with Joe after the show on social media, but all evidence was deleted once the narrative was set. They were used and thrown out when they realized there was no saving them, and their careers crumbled with it.
I didn't know this about Cruel Youth, I love their music so much, it's dreamy and fun.

Qveen was the right move for her. I like her style and music sometimes, a little bragadocious for me sometimes (she is not the best, I wish people would stop doing this is their music) but sometimes it’s uplifting. Her writing is uniquely hers, sometimes it’s mediocre but sometimes she has amazing little gems that are genius. Good for her though! She’s personally not my thing but she’s doing her thing and that’s really awesome!
