I have become wiser through those movies when I even see such stories. I am 59 and still have my friends I had when I was 5 years old ( 2) and a few secondary school(3). I am in the same boot as you. It got to a point that I began to think it’s more spiritual than physical. I am not perfect but I treat people the way I would like to be treated because I am a very emotional person so I understand what it feels like to be hurt by someone you trust. I have done nothing to friends that to be there for them and have their back but what I get in return is betrayer, jealousy and back stabbing. I give every person I meet a chance without judging from my previous experience but it’s comes back the same. I am not giving up yet though.
