Hey Mattie, when I grew up I always thought I liked boys but as I got older I started to get crushes on girls. I was only in middle school at the time and I didn't know what to do. When I saw you and watched this it helped me out. I wonder though, how do you tell someone that you like them without scaring them away?

so, in kindergarten, i met this girl who i'll call Charlie and she was my absolute best friend. i wanted to do absolutely everything with her. at the end of kindergarten, she told me she was moving and after that, i never saw her again. i never emotionally recovered from that because i never found someone like her. in first grade, i learned what a crush was and decided i had to have one. i picked a dude who i didnt really know and didnt care about whatsoever. i didnt realize that you could have a crush on a girl. i now realize that Charlie was my first actual crush.
First i was straight. Then i was bisexual. Then i was non-binairy and pansexual. Now i am agender and pansexual.
Im so proud of how far mattie has come they make my day with any post on any platform. Seeing all these people with their hair cut short and their parents support them for it gives me mixed feelings i want to come out i want to cut my hair and be the person im supposed to be but its hard to do that in a homophobic household, Thank you Mattie for making me smile day by day

This reminded me of the time when I was in elementary school and my friend asked me who did I have a crush on? And in my head I'm like Crush? So I made up some guy that was in my class which I honestly didn't have a crush on and they always tried to get me to ask him out. But secretly my friend's best friend was the one that I had a crush on. That's when I came home and ask my mom if it was okay for girls to be with other girls.

I have a little story Mattie! When I was in fourth grade (I’m 13 now lol) I watched SO MANY queer TikTok compilations on TH-cam (I didn’t have TikTok) and I started to think like “oh I relate to this but I’m not gay…” (spoiler alert: I was) but then I started to think about this girl in my class named Jessie and how I REALLY wanted to be around her ALL THE TIME and guess what!
