Thank you Dr Leong for providing mostly helpful, accessible advice. But did I hear you correctly? That one of the reasons for getting yourself sufficiently vaccinated with a second booster shot, ideally the bivalent type, would be seen as being considerate to a vulnerable member at home? By now, everyone must know that being fully vaccinated does not prevent one from getting infected/re-infected or passing on the bug. I'm afraid you may be misleading here.

@@mktoh Data from the UK and Nordic countries have shown that the risk of myocarditis in young males is more from 2nd (or 3rd) dose mRNA than infection. FDA vaccine experts Paul Offit and Cody Meissner have said this before.
The Singapore government recommends no strenuous activity for 14 days after each dose. This dramatically reduces the risk of myocarditis + pericarditis.
I scheduled last Friday for a Pfizer Bi-valent vaccine, only to find out that Pfizer is not available in the vaccination center.. Not sure where to ask of Pfizer is already available in Singapore..
I have few side effects (similar to flu plus diarrhoea) a week later after my 1st booster vaccination. Will I have similar side effects from bivalent vaccine?
Thank you Dr Leong. Such a timely video as my family is planning to go for our second booster tomorrow but I’m having some questions at the back of my mind. So helpful!
Thanks for sharing the evidences and correlation. I went for my 2nd booster jab and the person there ask my why I am changing from pfizer (past 3 doses) to Moderna and I got curious. Is there a reason for this question?
Thank u Dr Leong for the very clear explanation. My mum is 85 yrs old n had her Pfizers (1st & 2nd ) & Moderna (3rd ) this May. Does she need a 4th? She has diabetes, hypertension n cholesterol ( all under control ). If so, can I request a bivalent for her?

Not having the shot is a far better way of avoiding these risks.

I would stay well away personally. I've outright declined these so called 'vaccines' and haven't once worn a mask.
