Thank you for your comment. A whole course is very long, and unfortunately, I don't have that much free time. If you want, please suggest a specific topic that I could create a video about to highlight the aspects you’re interested in.
@@slezkitekut most used keycuts for modelling the base mesh and how we should think when making a 3d model (mindset).it doesnt need to be long video ☹️🙏
@@therealtrashhorrorstory5979 Unfortunatelly I do not. I studied this on my own, gradually. I watched TH-cam videos about certain things, then others. Step by step, I learned the full character creation pipeline in parts. I can briefly describe the steps: First, you choose references and look for an idea, then you create a base sculpt, after which you refine the sculpt details. Next comes retopology, then texturing and setting up materials for the chosen render engine. You can also rig and animate. In fact, you can find tutorials on the internet for each individual step.
IIn Blender, it's called the 'Boundary' brush. In the brush settings, you set the deformation target to Cloth sim, choose the deformation type: bend/expand/grab/twist, and by using that brush, you'll be deforming the mesh according to the type with cloth sim applied to the deforming part of the mesh. You can also use Marvelous Designer or CLO for complex clothing.
@@slezkitekut just tried it - friggin sweet! Blender still has many brushes I don't know how to use. Say you wanted to add wrinkles around a belt tucking in a shirt, what would you use?
@@ollied2025 Well, to start with, add face sets for the part of the clothing where you want to add folds. Then isolate that part, add a mask under the belt, for example, try using inflate deformation first and then expand to create the folds in your clothing. I also recommend trying to sculpt them by hand; look for pictures of the anatomy of folds and try to replicate them. It’s not that difficult, and it always works.
The attention to anatomy is lovely great work!
thanks 🥰
Never knew about that UV editing overlay that shows the stretching by color, neat.
I'm very glad to hear that and thank you for the comment.
nice work bro..:)
That's good to hear

@@slezkitekut Maybe you know some course with such a pipeline?

whoa, how do you suddenly make the cloth folds on the arms? I've been trying to make a spacesuit and really struggling with the cloth sim stuff
