I just bought two of these for use in small hvac/R production. The screen pops off easily,The manual is abysmal and nearly useless. There is very little info about the app. If you are using 2 or more pumps the app will continuously throw an alert at you. The screen popped off of both of the pumps I received. Also both vacuum sensors leaked severely. The leak rate reference is not a leak rate but a pump rate as it indicates the rate the vacuum level falls not rises when the system is isolated. This was not designed with the HVAC tech etc. im mind. The good is that it is quiet. The oil and motor temps are nice. The blue tooth function is nice, the app just needs much improvement and the leak rate should record the rise not the pump rate. Pump rate depends on amount of contaminates in the system. Why pay so much more for a pump that includes a gauge that leaks and does not indicate leak rate. There are bluetooth micron gauges.
Very interested in getting this. Does it regulate Like a air compressor where it will turn on and off to maintain pressure, in this case vacuum? I need to test a product over 12hr long tests and need a regulated vacuum so it’s not running all the time. And can you export the data logging information? Thanks

They sent me the pump for free, I bought and Appion speed y, 1/4”x3/8”x3/8” and I’ve had no issues but I was disappointed with only the 1/4” connection

I have a leak detector by them. Haven't missed a leak found by an Inficon or Fieldpiece detector, yet.

The pump, digital gauges and leak detector…. All supplied by Elitech have been great and are working like they did when I received them.

I've never used any Elitech products before but after using this vacuum pump I'd give a leak detector a shot.

I believe you can set a target point to shut off at, still learning about it but generally it just runs till you get where you want to be
