    Im having same problem , 6 months ago got missfire 2/3 cylinder and swapped coil place and it went away for that period. And 3h ago same problem , same cylinders and again i thought ill go swap them and puff problem gone away. Idk , i think ill get new coils but idk is problem in them

      Yeah sounds like you have a finicky coil pack like me. Moving it around and reinstalling was enough to get it to work again. I haven’t had any more issues since putting new coil packs in.

      Change plugs also and take a closeup photo of the tip of each plug. DI this on my sons 2006GTi and found tooo much oil build up on No.4 Plug. So replace the Ciol and Plug and its all good , However it means it has wera issues either valve stem leakage or rings. So he will be swithing up to a ticker oil as this should reduce the oil consumtion.
