For those wondering why they chose white bezels, only thing that came off wasn't as a practical feature but rather something to pay homage to their original color imacs from 2000's because, it also had white bezels and different colors on the outside. It's a great iMac but I prefer the 27 inch iMac with i7 5500xt or the MacBook M1 Pro + Studio Display. Or wait for 27" iMac..hopefully sooner than later..probably spring 2023.

Maybe the M1 is better for working with videos, but I have a 2011 iMAC that I use daily rather than the IMAC M1. The smaller screen size of the M! is a deal breaker. Can't get used to it.
Hi Bill, yeah, unfortunately, Apple doesn't do the upgrades. And if you even get their warranty, you get it very limited. On the other hand, if you fix your Apple device at a third party, your legal warranty may get nullified. That's why some people hate Apple, and for good reasons, too.

Apple does not do the upgrades---it means customers just trust reseller--rebuilders--who then offer their warranty and not Apple Care.
