  • Just wanted to share some of the anchors that I've found most useful this last year. I still love a short rope for removals and MRS, but when it comes to SRS and pruning, I have no trouble using a nice long rope. With the base anchor style I usually use I always have the perfect amount of rope. I've been using the Texas Tug more and more especially in lions tailed or otherwise poorly tapered elms, maples and ash.

    Really cool to see you doing this video with your son on you. As a father, I love seeing people bringing their family into their work and things that they love doing.

    Thats actually a bowline WITH A BITE..kevin Bingham uses this .he did seminar on tree stuff..and his favorite re direct was on a clove hitch ..he calked it the joey tree redirect
