I did the same as David, no medication and taking supplements and keeping my body on a good diet. got rid of the wheel chair a few years ago and it's great.

David thank you so very much for sharing your story. You are so inspirational and so is your Pops. Health challenges and extreme pain is a hard cross to bear. Heavenly Father allows everything in life even hardships to make us stronger. Great quote guys. Keep trucking and being a light of hope to the lost. Hugs and prayers.

I was diagnosed in 2001 but had first signs in 88. I was so pleased to get a diagnosis for all the peculiar things that kept happening. I am athiest but still happy with my lot and dealing with what the condition throws at me. Its good to have well known people talking about the condition

I think that we all face challenges in life, many that we feel we can't share with others, or we feel others will not understand. Life is too short and too precious for anyone to suffer. There is always hope our there.

My mother told me once when I was a child and throwing a tantrum that I choose to be happy or choose to be miserable. She explained that I am the only one who is ruining my day by being miserable ... I am not making things miserable for anyone else because they choose to ignore it. Therefore, I can stop what I am doing and be happy or I can choose to be happy and go on with life.

A friend of mine was bedridden for a whole year because of MS, until he gave up smoking, and has taken to eating salmon and broccoli every single day of the week.. he has never had a problem since .. but I suppose it depends on each case ..

Two people on the same drug for the same disease will often have different reactions to the drug... same applies to lifestyles, diet and any kind of therapy. MS is a death sentence because there is no cure, BUT it depends on what type you have how quickly after diagnosis you reach the end of the journey. It also depends on finding the best treatment for YOU. These men represent the possibilities so wonderfully. So you have MS? Don't let MS define you... and be happy

There are different types of MS and these two obviously have Relapsing/Remitting MS which means it comes and goes. When it goes it's NOT a miracle, it's just because it went away for a while. Progressive MS, which many have, never goes away but just gets worse and worse. It's great to be positive but we need to be REALISTIC too.

It’s caused by diet. Animal fats and oils. You “inherit” your bad eating habits from your parents.

Attitude is important. I do not understand having more children though to pass on this gene of suffering once you know better?

Can't live your life saying oh someone else is worst off than me doesn't work like that because it doest put your own hardships or health problems away you still live with the pain of any condition or problems ect it doest matter whether some one has a worse condition than you or not it doesn't work that way .
