THANK YOU!!! As my working thread was getting shorter & shorter & I'm barely half of the way thru this spiral bracelet, I was beginning to get anxious.. I'm SO grateful for all of your videos!! Thank you!❤
Thank you for posting these easy instructions. I haven't beaded for many years so I am considered new at this especially when I was beading there was no TH-cam nor was there videos to show step by step.
Hi I love the way you teach.... Now thank you for teaching how to add new thread... Kindly show how to or what to do with those extra thread ends once project is complete?
Thank you for demonstrating how to add thread to your project. I'm going to try this method the next time I need to add thread. Yesterday I was working on a project with RAW and I made a mess of it trying to add thread. Ended up ripping it all out and started over with longer thread which can be cumbersome.
Thank you! I tried a knot from another video, and the knot slid apart TWICE bc I was pulling so hard trying to get the knot through a seed bead. Looking forward to trying this one!
I am so glad of this tutorial. I had 5.25” of the diagonal peyote completed when I broke two beads attempting to add thread. I ended up undoing almost half of my work, enabling me to replace the broken beads. I have learned an important lessen about changing my needle to a smaller size and to be more careful when securing thread ends in my work. Oh well, I have learned the pattern quite well, now. 😡😭😞🤓.
Thank you so much! I was just working on a project and thought I had enough thread for the whole thing... Wrong! lol This was extremely helpful. Thanks!
How do you "sew in" the old thread and the thread with the stop bead on it? I am making the "flying dragon scale bracelet" from the October 2019 issue of Bead and Button magazine, and I'm at step 10, adding the bicones, but my thread is getting short... Thanks!
Do u have a tutorial of the necklace in this video? It’s beautiful! I think that u r by far my favorite designer on YouTub. I’m just beginning and it’s just a hobby. I think that you are just terrific.
Dear Steffy, I adore your projects and made many of them, and I learned so much from you. Now I want to make this bracelet and necklace, but I can’t find them. How are they called. Love to here from you. Many greetings from Lucia from the Netherlands,
Hi Lucia - Thank you for your kind comment🌺 The Necklace and Bracelet are part of the Interlace series on my channel. Link to bracelet th-cam.com/video/LMvpZZ_EDs4/w-d-xo.html Link to necklace th-cam.com/video/9VlV_SsXdYM/w-d-xo.html
Hi Stephanie, Great tip, will use this tip in future, my question is what about knots, doesn't the thread come loose even after you weave in the ends, I'm still a beginner with low confidence
Donna Poljarevic Thank you Donna🌻🙏😊 When you sew in your threads you will weave around some beads and tie off your threads using half hitch knots or as you would usually do when finishing a project.
There are so many ways to add thread! I use the square knot method now and then as well 🌻 This way just happens to be the fastest and easiest for most projects 😊
+Gale Loyd Hi Gayle - Thank you 🙏🌻😃 I put a materials list in the description box below the video. Click on the “show more” or down arrow under the video and the box will open. Here us a link to the tutorial th-cam.com/video/9VlV_SsXdYM/w-d-xo.html
+Gale Loyd If the link doesn’t appear the name of the necklace is the V Bling necklace. You can find it under my necklace playlist or in the general list of videos 🌻
When I am weaving in my ends, I make a few half hitch knots but I find that it always warps the bracelet a bit. I try not to pull on it when I’m tying the knots, but it still happens. Do u have any tips to avoid this?
I don’t know if this is working, cause one time I tight my old one I continue with the other I make it up down inside my before beads I continue beading my project and after some time my necklace became 2 pieces. The good thing was that I didn’t lose any of me beads. But believe me I was making lots or round and tight it. So I don’t know if this simple add of thread without tight it will last.
I use Fireline or Wildfire beading thread for these projects. They come on different weights and diameters. You can purchase these brands on most bead websites😊

Hi, I'm a beginner of beading, and I'm following a pattern of a 3D animal, and there is a point where I have to add a wire and then join in another point. How do I have ti do that? (it's a leg) Could you help me please? I didn't find anything that teach how to do it.
@@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry I don't know who is the designer, I found that photo on pinterest. And if it's from the designer I'm thinking about, I don't believe he would answer me (maybe it's the designer of Perlentiere books).
@@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry the problem is that here I can't send images, otherwise I would send it here so you, maybe, could help me someway. You have more experience than me.
I’m so sorry Alesia I can’t help you. I would have to be the designer to know how. If you purchased the pattern he should answer you. Good luck. I hope it works out.
I do not mean to be " brain dead" on this particular issue, but I seem to always want to throw a knot in there,is that not advisable?..does it hurt if I can find a spot to hide it, or is that just a give away ,that I am still learning and still lack a bit of confidence?..Why do I think no knot means possible loosening of thread and perhaps beads being lost... sorry.🤔😕
You are using your beady brain in a good way Kathy🤣🤣🤣 Yes, when you tie in your threads you will add half hitch knots. This is for adding a thread so you don’t have to stop beading. The bead holds the thread in place and you can tie knots right away or later 🌸🌸🌸
THANK YOU!!! As my working thread was getting shorter & shorter & I'm barely half of the way thru this spiral bracelet, I was beginning to get anxious.. I'm SO grateful for all of your videos!! Thank you!❤
Thanks Stephanie. I wondered how to do it properly I even put some slip knots in my work to make sure it is extra secure. ❤️❤️
This method always works for me 😊
Thanks. Just started beading. Love your tutorials. I stop/start them and you make it so understandable. Excited to get started.👍
