This is great to watch. I have inherited a SxS trade gun from an Aberdeen, Scotland maker in 500BPE that is about to go through this process (left for 40 years, broken through the wrist, excellent bore though) so Im really glad to see this.
Would you do more of these? I’m down in Tassie and have a 1800s I Hollis & Sons and a similar age Barton Co. Leigh that needs some work to tighten up the slip between the barrels as stock. I use the Hollis for clays with 7.5’s but it does have some pitting in the barrels

Have you ever used the ultrasonic baths?
Ultrasonic cleaners are good for parts that cant be disassembled. They take a long time though, which slows down turn over.
