Reduit is the most beautiful beach on the island of Pigeon on the north coast of the island state of Saint Lucia. This is an elite resort, which is included in the “Golden Mile” beaches of the coast.
The length of the coastline is 1 km, the coast is covered with golden fine sand. In the south of the resort there are green hills, trees, shrubs. The beach offers a unique panoramic view over Rodney Bay and the island. The resort is protected from the wind, high waves do not rise. The beach is quiet, calm, cozy. Suitable for holidays with the whole family.
The coast is wide, spacious and has enough space for active and passive recreation: lovers of playing volleyball and Frisbee do not disturb those who sunbathe, swim and having a break from everyday work. In this area the sea is calm, quiet, the water is transparent, which attracts fans of snorkeling and diving. Pink coral reefs with many sea creatures stretched close to the coast. Those wishing to have fun rent water transport: scooters, catamarans, powerboats; they also rent equipment for water sports. The main landmark of the island, where the resort is located, is the National Historical Park, which is connected to the island by a long bridge.

I know right. What shocked me the most is the kindness of people ✌️🇱🇨
North end gets very crowded during cruise ship season November to April. Go after 3 p.m. by when they have all left to be taken back to the port. Spinnakers Beach Bar by the 'ramp' (constructed by the US Navy in the 1940's for their flying boats) is a great place for 'Happy Hour' sunset cocktails South end is currently tranquil, locals, Marie's bar (see my post) but like so many natural spots is threatened with redevelopment. In fact virtually the whole hotel strip has been acquired by an international hotel group for 'redevelopment'. That means characterless bland homogenous 'resorts' that could be anywhere in the world. Probably most of their customers won't even know which island they're on. Enjoy it while it lasts!
