Pigeon Island beach St Lucia is actually two separate white sand beaches.
Both beaches have bathroom facilities and are kept in pristine condition. Pigeon Island Beach is pretty much the same as the Sandals resort beach next door but at much less cost. A large share of Pigeon Island Beach is dedicated to the Sandals Grande Resort. However, a perfect sliver of white sand between the five-star hotel and the Pigeon Island National Park can be reserved for your private paradise.
Here you can spend your day lazing on the sand, wading in the shallows of the turquoise waters, or even exploring the stunning reef just off the beach. Generally uncrowded, especially midweek, Pigeon Island beach is one of the best beaches in St Lucia.

*When I visited Pigeon Island my first impression was that I landed on another planet. Surreal mountains hugging the Pigeon Island Beach and unique beach chairs dotted on the beach. As soon as the interactions with very friendly local St.Lucians followed, I was transported back to earth. St.Lucians had that effect on me, as you can sense immediately, the deep cultural identity they posess and how proud they are of St.Lucia. I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed spending time there interacting with locals and listening to their stories. Something very special happening here. I will have to come back later, to inspect more, I think.
