- Welcome back to Coldborough Farm - set in Herefordshire, England. In this Farming Simulator 2015 let's play I aim to farm the entire map in the beautiful rolling countryside of Herefordshire.

You didn't exactly fail at forestry, the spinning trees & things weren't your fault. The agro forest was a neat idea! I'm going to miss you playing on Coldborough as often because its one of my favorite maps for FS15. Really enjoying your series.
You're a lot better with the woodchipper than me. I played with it once stuck a tree in, it was at this point something went horribly wrong. Some how the woodchipper and the tractor flipped on their side lol. Keep up the great work.

Good video. I wouldn't call it a failure but a test and tune of the procedure. I've actually used that chipper quite a bit (the modded ones aren't quite realistic enough for me to really enjoy) and the best way I go about it is to cut the trunk into 3-4 meter sections.Its easier to load onto the conveyor evenly and by time the one that is on there is chipped, you have the next one ready with the crane. Also seems to have less of a chance of failure. I think it would be cool to see you use to pull behind skidder www.modhoster.com/mods/forst-log-skidder to bring the logs to the chipper. Just recomendations! :D enjoying the series!

Hey Daggerwin, for one of your fun videos on sunday, you should try out Ski Region Simulator. It's not a fairly new game but it would be really fun to watch and something a bit different!
What steering wheel do you use
you do not have to keep the tipper under the chipper it has a hopper and well hold chips until it's full I was doing the same thing. Until I noticed the feel gauge showed the % of chips in the hoper

You could use the grab to hold them and then cut them and push it into the chipper

I just started to try doing the forestry in the coldborough park farm map and after seeing how the forestry was really being a pain for you, still made me wish to do it myself?
Plus I doing it because the biogas power plant is asking for wood chips and paying far more for them about 1.8x more!
So I though I try it, I got the rental mod and used that to rent the improved mod of a scorpion which I got from the farming-uk site.
I got the other in game wood chipper, it is towed by the top tractor ( case tractor ) since that is the most powerful tractor in this map at 203 hp that is needed by this chipper to power it fully?
I got a big tipper trailer as well pulled by the astrostar tractor,
Now got them all up in the forestry area near fields 21 and 22.
Passed the cow field.
Now after paying out £92.000p for that chipper and £2000 for rental and £1000 day of the improved scorpion tree grabbing & cutting machine I started to fight with the controls for this scorpion and it is a fiddly so and so, then got the big tipper trailer next to the chipper and started cutting down the trees ok so far.
Next turned on the chipper by the power transfer from the 203 hp case tractor, then fight again to control the arm to pick p the cut logs to chip them!
Now the problem, how the heck do I rotate the chipper machines claw and even more how the heck do I open the claw to pick up the logs for loading into this chipper?
I looked at the help controls menu and every control for that chipper lifting arm is there except how to open the claw or rotate the claw?
Please if you can tell me I be so pleased?
I really wish to make the most of the extra pay outs for the wood chips?

Glad I'm not the only one lol - Must say, it's better than it was before the patch but still tough to use.

Why are you doing this map once a week? I think it is a great series and needs to be done more often
Definitely not the right trailer for that but you did good
You should try to make more exiting videos, I mean the gameplay is fine but maybe try to talk about more exiting things

The only thing that i dont want to do with the wheel is the logging! That i ll do with the controller. XD
