thanks to holland for a great interview! 🥰 how much he tried to become who he is right now just amazes me! I hope you guys enjoyed the interview as much as I did and please let me know who else I should interview!
Hi, I loved the interview. The LGBTQIA+ community has all of my support. And I love your channel, and that you aspire to spread positivity. I would love an interview on the feminist movement in South Korea. Considering the rising support, and that it is being met with dissent from groups such as 'Dang Dang We'. There seems to be a lot of misconceptions surrounding feminism, and a lot of people believing there is no reason for it to exist. But I would politely ask for people to educate themselves on issues surrounding gender equality. Such as sexual violence, work inequality, spy-cams, and the injustice for ex-comfort women, for example, which only represents a fraction of the issue. I understand it may be considered a sensitive topic, but I believe it needs to be brought to attention. I hope you and anyone reading this is doing well; stay safe and healthy everyone. Peace

Great interview & thanks so much for the openness. When I was a kid in the 70s you could never reveal your true self - you would be destroyed and even today, yes, better atmosphere but old hatreds linger a long time. One of my idols when I was a kid was Michael Jackson - by age he was only a year older than me. I always wonder if he was to start his career today if he'd still be here. I'm sure I am not explaining this clearly but all I want to say is just be who you are; the only one that needs to accept you is you. I'm 62 & I love K-pop, etc. I fully support Holland and wish him every happiness in the world. Thanks!

The interviewer was so nice and sweet he was supportive , professional and at the same time somebody who seemed very comfortable to talk to . Like that was some really personal information right there , I would probably have a nervous breakdown while revealing it but something about this guy felt very comforting and non-judgemental
This is the first time I heard about Holland or maybe I've heard his songs already but didn't know. Will check him out later. 😬 P.S. 9:41 I believe a lot of people already is inspired by you 👌🏻
When Holland talked about how he got trauma from a young age because people bullied him, I’m not lying when I say that I cried. It makes me so mad when people bully others for something that’s literally uncontrollable. It’s like bullying someone because they have brown eyes. Yeah, I can try to put on colored contacts to cover the color of my eye, but at the end of the day, my eyes will always be brown, no matter what, so I should be happy about it and embrace it. I love how chill Holland is seriously...this video is seriously so inspiring. THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO I REALLY NEEDED THIS
@@takataka5056 Being gay, straight, bisexual, or anything of the sort is something that you cannot control. You can't exactly control who you are attracted to. It just happens. You know from the start that you like who you like. It's just how it is.
@@4m1nur_48 Ouh i see. Thank you for explaining. I agree with your point that for whatever reason, no one should be bullied. Huhu. But dont you think being attracted to opposite gender is the real human nature? Like choosing to be gay/lesbian is not similar with being born with particular skin colour/eye colour? Like the skin colour is something he/she was born with but the feeling of attracted to same gender is something he/she chooses to have? Sorry didnt mean to offend anyone. Just wanted to see from another pov huhu
taka taka as a bisexual person, i don’t choose the fact that i’m attracted to both men and women. being apart of the lgbtqia+ community isn’t something people choose to do, just how heterosexual people don’t choose to love the opposite gender. being gay/bisexual/asexual/aromantic/pansexul etc isn’t a lifestyle or a choice, it’s something that we can’t really control.
Passion has nothing to do with external forces. Do what makes you happy and satisfied. Be the person you want to be. Your story is such an inspiration. I will support and love you forever Holland.
Holland is amazing i love his music and he is just so nice and adorable i accepted him as a gay man just like i accepted anyone apart of the lgbt+q community :)
Holland seems like a nice person and I think he's great that he was brave enough to come out. But I just wish the guy actually had talent for singing. He's definitely nothing like Troye Sivan.
In my opinion Holland is the most inspiring guy to Asia LGBTQ community, as a Canadian Korean lesbian girl I always proud of him because of his bravery, Hope to see a bright future for South Korea LGBTQ community
Thank you Holland for your courage and honor. The example you set will positively impact generations behind you. You are a humble servant of a God that loves ALL his children. I was really encouraged by this as my husband is Korean and like you he had to suffer so many years for something he had no control of. Thank you. If ever in Southern California you have a place to stay. Be safe.

I really love his personality,i feel like he is very honest about what he thinks and he would be a very supportive friend ❤ (thank you for the interview)
He is so cheerful and such a sweet person.🥺 I am gonna be honest I randomly got this video recommendation, he seems interesting and now I’m gonna check his music out. ☺️
He really is!! I got to meet him twice, once for a concert and he was not only really talented and had a real stage presence, he was also extremely sweet and we all got to hug and talk to him. The second time I saw him during the fashion week and he always take time to talk and hug his fans
Holland is so amazing. Hes so confident in his identity and i find that do inspiring. I found him because of the news about him being the first openly gay kpop idol, but i stayed because i love his music and personality. Hes so talented and has so much potential. He cares so much for his fans. Hes hilarious, funny, inspiring, and sweet and i love him with all my heart
korea still has a long way to go in terms of the LGBTQ+ community & the acceptance of same-sex couples, etc. gradually, they are becoming more open-minded, and i’m excited for the future!
I suffered from depression, currently got anxiety and panic disorder. I've been like this for so long that I can't trust myself to pursue my dreams, because I think I won't be able to handle the challenges. But seeing how he overcame that, and seeing what he's doing now... It truly inspires me and gives me hope. I wish him the best!
me too! I was trying to imagine him as a dad with his sweet husband/ boyfriend or whatever and I was aaaaaaaaallllll uwu in my headXD and the fact that no-one can come to me and say "girl you're fantasizing, he's straight" low-key feels GODLY AMAZING, KYAAAAAAAAAXD
Thanks so much for this interview! Holland is such a sweet person and is very brave to come out openly in a homophobic society like Korea. I hope he sets a good example for others to come out and prove to everyone that love is love regardless of gender. I bet if everyone fights for same sex marriage and rights for the LBGT community then things will get better. Wishing him the best and hope he gives everyone else the courage to come out one day as everyone deserves happiness. Jolin Tsai who is a famous singer from Taiwan and is not part of the LBGT community but believes in equal rights for all so she fought hard for their rights and Taiwan legalized same sex marriage in 2019. If Taiwan can do it, then Korea definitely can too.
¡Felicidades! Y me encanta esta hermosa canción.

you inspire me everyday holland, i don't feel a creep anymore, i know that i'm a human. and i'm younger then you were when the bullying started and this is happening to me tho. I'm going to really hard times just for loving someone who has the same gender as me, but now i can tell that i'm not afraid anymore, because i'm proud of me. You really changed me holland, and your story tell me to don't give um yet i'm a really proud harling
what i absolutely love about this interview is that you’re so kind & respectful to Holland. when I watched Holland’s 1st music video, I got goosebumps. I think that’s when I realized I was most likely bi. Holland was one of the people who inspired me to embrace who I am. I still haven’t fully come out of the closet yet, but I will hopefully soon. I really really do want to thank you for making this video with him! sending much love from America. 🤍
this young man is really brave to perform in public, without hiding his sexual orientation. Korea is a country that is not very open to the rights of minorities, and the action of this artist is essential to open consciences and change mentalities.
He's absolutely right. I've seen those 'gayest moments in kpop!' videos use stills of Holland's actual videos as their thumbnails and he's never in them. They want fan service gay, not actual gay people.
Holland really inspired me embarrass my queerness more and everyday i become more comfortable with myself. I always was scared to go into the art industry thinking i won't make money but one day i said to myself i will make what makes me happy even tho i might be not financially stable. 🏳️🌈 i'm still young and maybe my opinion will change one day but do what makes u happy.
omooooo Holland is so cute! I just feel so happy that I watched this and decided to give him a chance, I never disliked him or anything but I have to confess that I wasn't feeling good back then when he 1st debuted, now after these whole time my whole perspective on sexuality, different orientations and this whole thing has changed and I came back to him and I'm seriously considering stanning him and all I want right now is to hug him and thanks him. I feel a lot of respect towards him after this, just because of his sexuality he has to endure so much unnecessary difficulties in this already difficult enough industry of kpop and still he's so forgiving, honest and you know good person. He wants to be a friend, a hand someone would need to take in difficult times and that really wants a lot of courage and in addition to that we're talking about homosexuality in Korea! I just can't believe the amount of stress and worries he had when he 1st was about to make his debut. I wish him the best and try to do my best and support him and his work as much as possible.
Holland is really talented and amazing as a person and an artist, I just wish that he wasn't referred to as "the gay idol" all the time. like he's so much more then that and I hope people will come to see that in the future. But this interview touched on a lot of topics that people, like Holland said, "sweep under the rug". I'm really proud of Holland and as a member of the lgbtq+ community he's given me strength and has been my support for a long time and I'm grateful to him for all he's done. thank you so much for this interview💜
I love Holland so much, he's such a sweetheart and deserves the world. I agree with what he said about LGBTQ+ being overused for comedy purposes within kpop idols. It's sad that these things seem okay to everyone but when there's an actual gay idol people have issues with it. Holland is so strong and I'm so happy that he got to where he is today and hopefully he will get more recognition in the future for his music too and not just for being a gay idol. I can see him doing big things in the future 💕
Omg he's soooooo cute!!!!!! I'm happy you had him on your channel so I could find him 😊❤️ I'm gonna share this with all my friends, thank you so much! Sending love from Sweden 🇸🇪❤️ Stay safe out there, people❤️
I think Holland helped give me confidence since I saw his first MV a few years ago. As soon as I saw him I thought "hey this is so cool" and now I can call him my idol.
I fully agree with the part where entertainment companies asking idols to create gay moments That's so true, sometimes some moments feel like they r made out especially being jealous and all.
I just discovered Holland today, but I already love his music and personality. As a bisexual teen who listens to almost exclusively kpop, this is really inspiring to see. The amount of bravery it takes to be yourself is insane, and I'm proud of him for doing so. Happy pride month to everyone!🏳️🌈
I want to hug him so much, imagine being THIS brave, i live in europe i have never been in Korea before but if he is gonna have a tour i want to be first in the line and i will give him all of my money, period
This makes me feel much better, because I am learning Korean and love the culture and language and one day I hope to come to South Korea and live and work there, but I am bisexual, so I have always harbored this fear in my heart that it wouldn't be a safe place for me emotionally. Seeing you be so supportive of him and Holland being so brave and determined to help others, "open their wings" makes me feel that although South Korea may be a more traditional place there's people there who are supportive of LGBTQ+. Thank you for doing this video. Thank you, Holland, for being exactly who you are and for growing into who you want to be. ❤️
i am so proud of him 🥺 his bravery is so inspiring and watching him the past year has made me so happy 😁 such an amazing artist, and such a beautiful personality ✨ I love you so much holland, I am proud of you and hope you can continue to be strong. what you are doing is incredible, you are striving for change and so many of us will stand by you. i love you ❤️💝💜✨🥰

THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO I REALLY NEEDED THIS
I am sorry. May i ask some questions? Mind sharing on why do you think being gay is uncontrollable?
Senna Uijldert I completely agree with you.
KING HOLLAND WE STAN
He is adorable 😍 love him so much and I really hope he can accomplish his goals. I really want him to be successful and be loved by many! ♥️
I think there must be every k-pop group that might be one of them.
제키Jaykee_Karimun well 1 out of 3 people are gay soo
(I’m looking at you nct) (I’m just kidding lmaoo)
Wow Holland is beautiful men :3
Holland for TED !!!!!!
Passion has nothing to do with external forces. Do what makes you happy and satisfied. Be the person you want to be. Your story is such an inspiration. I will support and love you forever Holland.
I love Holland😘👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I've known and love Holland since Neverland 💕💕💕 I love him so much 😍😍😍
I'll be always here to support your channel. Always.
Omghh yesss I love Holland so much he's made me embrace myself as a bisexual person
The way I gasped when I saw the title of the vid omg
yes queen....my lovely holland....❤❤❤❤🌈🌈🌈🌈
I’m soo happy for him 😊
❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
In my opinion Holland is the most inspiring guy to Asia LGBTQ community, as a Canadian Korean lesbian girl I always proud of him because of his bravery, Hope to see a bright future for South Korea LGBTQ community
Omg hes the one who posted a video “studying charisma” while watching nct
Thank you Holland for your courage and honor. The example you set will positively impact generations behind you. You are a humble servant of a God that loves ALL his children. I was really encouraged by this as my husband is Korean and like you he had to suffer so many years for something he had no control of. Thank you. If ever in Southern California you have a place to stay. Be safe.
Well, guess what. Holland got a new fan from Panama.
The video was so enjoyable to watch. Well presented as well❤️best wishes
Holland's concerts are like mini Pride Festivals, openly LGBTQ+ and very upbringing and inspiring.
I love Holland
He is so cute and funny 😆
I love him 😍
thank you for another great video! maybe next time the music could be a bit less loud (for the first part)
he kinda looks like kookie thooo😮
*literally mind blown...
..
.
....everything he said is true tho I agree 100%...👀..😆
"Vive tu vida y deja vivir" Es algo que no todas las personas entienden y creen que sus palabras son las únicas con la razón absoluta pero saben algo se equivocan ... Holland Sunbaenim You really did well and someday "Haters" will see how wrong they were to judge you
I really love his personality,i feel like he is very honest about what he thinks and he would be a very supportive friend ❤ (thank you for the interview)
true!!!
You won't regret it! He really is super chill and sweet, and his music is great too! :)
Same
Holland is like the Korean ver. of Troye Sivan ❤️

Whatever happen, sword vs sword never get a baby😌
HOLLAND IS TOO PRECIOUS UWU
Ok, but when he said he wanted to start a family I started squealing and uwuing SO HARD.
@@icebergsumgin_6364 THIS IS LITERALLY WHAT I WAS THINKING TF
@@suzyverse great minds think alike XD
If Taiwan can do it, then Korea definitely can too.
this interview looks just so comfy and calm. even the fact that they are friends is just so cute. thanks for this great interview 💕💕.
HOLLAND ES UN GRAN CHICO, ESPERO QUE MAS GENTE VEA SU TALENTO Y POTENCIAL Y TENGA LA FAMA QUE MERECE. !STAN HOLLAND THE BEST BOY!
@Dana MSA *you're free to do what you're heart tell you
@Dana MSA GRACIIASS!!
@Dana MSA i am proud*.
you inspire me everyday holland, i don't feel a creep anymore, i know that i'm a human. and i'm younger then you were when the bullying started and this is happening to me tho. I'm going to really hard times just for loving someone who has the same gender as me, but now i can tell that i'm not afraid anymore, because i'm proud of me. You really changed me holland, and your story tell me to don't give um yet
i'm a really proud harling
what i absolutely love about this interview is that you’re so kind & respectful to Holland. when I watched Holland’s 1st music video, I got goosebumps.
Holland is such a pure and genuine human being, he needs to be supported and protected at all costs.❤
Loved this interview so much ❤️It was so chill and Holland spoke facts ❤️
omooooo Holland is so cute!
For me , You are a GREAT Idol ¡¡¡ 😭💗💗💗💗💗💗🌸 thanx u very much for this interview 💗
I fully agree with the part where entertainment companies asking idols to create gay moments
That's so true, sometimes some moments feel like they r made out especially being jealous and all.
i am so proud of him 🥺 his bravery is so inspiring and watching him the past year has made me so happy 😁 such an amazing artist, and such a beautiful personality ✨ I love you so much holland, I am proud of you and hope you can continue to be strong. what you are doing is incredible, you are striving for change and so many of us will stand by you. i love you ❤️💝💜✨🥰
I love everything about this interview, thank you for your work, Jaykee! So proud of Holland and how far he has come. So happy I was able to see him at his concert in London 💙
