You're absolutely right I'm tired of watching Caucasian especially European hairdressers fake it until they make it. Sure you can style it to resemble the cut but when there is a technique that will get you there faster and more precisely why not learn that?
@mralex070 well.... hes very particular about his hair so he only ended up letting me shorten his bangs a bit so I guess it went well enough but I didnt get to cut much off!
@@lalajean452 It depends on what you mean by fail, are your standards really high ? Be realistic and set your standards lower, practice eventually gets your skill to match your standards. I got my working sister to cut my hair after my barber cut it the month before, she spent 2 hrs on it and I felt it looked amazing and she was happy too. I asked her a second time and it didn't turn out as good so I was a bit annoyed and she was upset. I felt terrible because I should've been thanking her for taking time out of her live to do it. Don't beat yourself up too much over something like this.

Just show those to pictures and say that they should do the same and then shorten the other parts a bit. The results were very good with me
If you aren't the best with scissors then I highly recommend using the hair clippers for the undercut. Use the longest cap and go upward in a straight line (vertically) to get a similar effect. I'll be doing this to myself tomorrow lol. I'm a woman. I've done this haircut on my brother before, but lately I've wondered how it looks on a woman. Wish me luck 😂
Yeah it's actually completely unnecessary to use the shears for the undercut here. it IS really cool though, so I'd still like to learn lol I feel like mastering those shear skills would make me a better barber.

I've asked for this haircut 4 times at different pretty expensive hairsaloons (like 40-60 euros) and everytime I get some shit looking western fade style haircut. I've even showed multiple pictures each time. Smh..
@@ShrugSzn A 2 block is a pretty simple haircut, and very similar haircuts were popular in the west in the 80's/90's. It's not that they can't, it's that they think shitty fades look better.
