Good stuff. I got into an argument with a "provider" on a peri FB site who asked me why i was taking estrogen in peri....I was taken aback by her old school way of thinking....Estradiol saved my life. PMDD nearly took me out. Tried oral progesterone alone and entered a DEEP depression, wanting to end my life...I could not tolerate progesterone without estrogen (I was consistently testing at E 20-30 on day 20 of cycle)...Now on estradiol gel and cycling rectal progesterone and testosterone cream and doing well. Joint pain gone, more stable moods, sleeping well....This was a very well-explained talk.
Great discussion. Would you recommend cycling both oral progesterone (luteal) and transdermal estradiol in the second half of follicular phase in perimenopause?
Amazing! Thank you! Could you please do a Utube like this on those of us whom have undergone surgical menopause where our uterus, both ovaries, cervix & tubes were all removed at a young age.
