Peep Show is a British television sitcom starring David Mitchell and Robert Webb. They play two dysfunctional flatmates who reveal their inner thoughts - whether dark, stupid, or embarrassing. Or, occasionally, all three...
I love that Mark always wants to go to the KFC when he is running from his problems
Kentucky Fried Chicken. No need to abbreviate
@@zapkvr They routinely use their initialism.
@@zapkvr everyone I ever heard talking about it said KFC. No need to be a smartass
they should upload the deleted episode where jez bums mark and mark farts
@@mftmss7086 That only exists in your head.
I could actually feel Mark’s anxiety in this episode. We’ve all been there. Lol.
So true, was just extolling the virtues to my 14yo son, of facing your problems head on and doing the exact opposite of what Mark does!!!
😂😂😂

I love how running away seems like such a Mark thing to do, and then gets persuaded back into the board room. So spineless, but that’s why I love him
Playing ukelele in the woods for the rabbits and the squirrels does sound like a good idea.
Tube up his nose, tube up his nose... Everybody quiet, 'cause Gerard's got a tube up his nose.
Sorry, I couldn't hear you, it's the mucus.
Freak.
He should have just wheeled Gerrard out for the sympathy vote.
Arguably the best advice Jez ever gave Mark. 🤝
I'm so joining in on his joy with that final "I'm going clear!" Leave all that bullshit behind, Mark! It's like Chief fiinally escaping the Cuckoo's Nest!
Mark totally deserved that from Jeff.
Mark Wars: Revenge of the Jeff
Jeff's a prick too tho tbh.
@@TheLowestLow blasphemy
It’s also the best of Jeff’s shit-eating grins in the whole series. And the little “look how funny this is gonna be” look on his face just before, perfection
I love when Gerard stands up for himself
have they stopped history books....what a great line

Iconic
Leghorn. The S is redundant
@@zapkvr you’re redundant

This is a near perfect recreation of me at university, things were going horribly so I decided to do a Mark and run away, legally of course but nevertheless this is kind of how I felt whilst doing so.
Yeah I had this feeling just before delivering my absolute not at all even remotely complete mess of a bachelors degree major project.
Halfway through Graduate school and this is how it feels regularly enough. Just gotta push through the burn for another year.
To be fair on Mark, it was Johnson's fault that his aims were too diffuse.
His aims were not to f ing diffuse, OK?
Still you can compile a presentation with some facts and figures about it
Got a big project I need to deliver next week so I have come here for tips!
Name it Project Zeus & see if anyone recognises the PS reference.
Just run away mate
Go KFC
How did it go?
I'm running away... this is brilliant! gets me every time 😂
Geoff’s idea was a print out of some overlapping circles intended to represent a merger of three departments. Firstly, Project Zeus didn’t include merging Planning with any other department. Secondly, Geoff’s sum total of work was this rubbish. Lastly, Geoff isn’t a JLB Credit board member.
If you can't sum up all your aims in the first line, then they're too diffuse.
This is actually so relatable at times
"Is there something on that piece of paper that's made you sad?" 🤣 Why is that so funny?
I've lost my beautiful elephant man.
1:42 can we just talk about the E C H O
They say it like it's a bad thing 😂
It cracks me up the way Mark takes his failure out on Gerrard here. (':
Why the hell would Johnson arrange the presentation before the details of Project Zeus were worked out??!!😭
Classic Johnson
At the start of the episode he mentions that the conference at Kettering was "this weekend". He had probably taken on the project himself far earlier, realised it was unworkable, and then roped in Mark at the last minute to be the fall guy.
my favorite scene in the show
I’ve lost my elephant man
3:27 - Two of Mark's most ridiculous ideas!
If your problems, never catch up with you, what's the hitch!
If you're so dissatisfied with your fiancée that you'd rather marry a lapdancer you met once whom you didn't like, it's a sign that you should split up.
But that would be embarrassing
Ahh Gerrard!
1:33 Jeff is cool....
He's a bell end.
Love how Marks answer to most things is a KFC and getting married 😂
Mark was worrying unduly. All he had to do was use whatever he and a Gerard had come up with and wing it.
the mucus this side
he just like me fr
Mark's aims are too fucking diffuse.
Mark fails to write Project Zeus & never becomes Johnson's queen.
Was that the plan for Project Zeus or the Big Beat Manifesto?
Mark would much prefer it were the BBM, because that's a lot shorter & he could ask Hans.
Have you read the Big Beat Manifesto lately?
@@esquilax5563 Big beats are the best; get high all the time.
@@esquilax5563 did we write it down?
@@ChilavertishBig beats are the best, get high all the time.
Is it that hard to integrate sales and marketing?
1:02
How did this play out for him, in the end?
He joined Al-qaeda and ate a whole bargain bucket + a Sara Lee for pudding
@@yatesy117 Gladly not. Mark encounters Sophie & returns. He says that the merger doesn't work, then claims he's terminally ill & Johnson backs his claim.
@@yatesy117 I think he had a couple loaves of spelt bread, some Cumberland sausages and onion gravy, as well.
Most of Mark's misadventures usually turn out alright
@@esquilax5563 I'm struggling to think of any that did.
*D O I T M A N!!!!!!!* 👉
As somebody on a few boards ,if a presentation is a bit poor , it is never the presenter that is torn into (that would be rude to the presenter and unfair as he/she would be junior relative to the board) , it would be after the presenter has left that the board member whose remit the work falls under that gets it. A good example is in the film 'Margin Call' where the big boss praises all those junior in the board meeting but lays into the actual board members
He should definately ask Jez's advise before joining al qaeda.
Nice video Love from India 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Conference, the second of PS' peak series, 4.
If you're gonna run away, do it properly: sell your flat, buy a ticket to a 2nd- or 3rd-world country and start a new life. For the price of your flat you could buy something twice as big and luxurious, be it a flat or a private house. And English natives are always sought after by employers. You Westerners really have no idea how lucky you are.
literally what are you talking about
@@hodgepodge2749 what exactly do you not understand?
I doubt there are lapdancing clubs in Kettering.
Ahem Cleopatras? Shove that up your bo**ox!
Why don’t you go and find out? Let us know how you get on.
@@vonteflon never peek at the other side of the fence
Aberdeen, on the other hand...
Jeremy and Mark are like British versions of Drake and Josh respectively
Not even close.
🤷🏿♂️
They're way closer to Moss and Roy, than some random American Nickelodeon teens.
Yet some Jeff fans insist he's the good guy of PS!
Mark deserved it
@@ghostdukevladamir5101 How so?
@@davidz3879 He shat all over Jeff’s idea in front of their coworkers. Jeff is a prick, but Mark had it coming this time.
@@deadshot1995 It's an unworkable idea. Jeff tries to make the project considerably more complex & difficult.
@@davidz3879 It was a shit idea, but a team leader shouldn't publicly humiliate people working under them. Because if that shit idea ends up being the only thing you have by crunch time, they're just gonna flip you off.
